Hey, does anyone know if HBO will be showing this on tv again?? I got a chance to watch some of it at my friend's house (she has the dvd) and watched the first two parts and I really like it. I am going to hopefully try to rent the movie.

I don't know about HBO, but it's popped up on LOGO recently. It's edited on that channel, though. If you can't find it to rent, couldn't you borrow it from your friend?
If you are anywhere near Dallas, you can catch Part One on stage in May at the Bath House Cultural Center.
(Oops! Was that shilling?!?)

Where is the Bathhouse Cultural Center? I've never heard of it.
It's on the east side of White Rock Lake, off of Buckner Blvd. Several theaters use its performance space, including Risk Theater Initiative (who is producing ANGELS) and Echo Theater.

I think I went to White Rock Lake once. Never saw a show there though.

Is it actually a bathhouse?

We know where Kringas will be after the show.

Ha. I'd be afraid of catching crabs. And Angels is a show I'm not sure I could sit through. I was in amazing production two years ago and I'm not sure I could actually watch anyone else do it. I haven't even watched the movie since I was in it.
It's edited on Logo? Funny, I thought it was pretty much intact.

I could have sworn that some profanity was softened for LOGO, but I could be wrong. I only watched a few minutes of it.

I saw the Broadway production so many times (10?), the ushers started to recognize me.
I don't think it was, it just had gigantic warnings before they played each section. Then again, I watched it at 3 in the morning.

I don't blame you Margo! I only got to see it once on stage, but the film version is something I can watch over and over and never tire of it. HBO's best product without a doubt.
"Margo, I guess you liked it then?"
I guess there is a reason your name is Captain_Obvious.
The Bath House Cultural Center was, indeed, a bath house ... but not THAT kind of bathhouse ...
The Bath House history
nothing has EVER been shown on LOGO "intact."
just splurge and purchase the DVD. it is brilliant. you'll be glad you did.
Meryl, Meryl, Meryl.
Yes, get the DVD. Search and I'm sure you can even find it discounted. I found both parts at Hollywood Video, previously viewed for $10.
It's worth it.
