They've been presenting the entire series today, so far I've watched the pilot. It's Get Smartish and Police Squady and I feel like we've seen it all before but damn if it hasn't made me laugh a lot. Plus, LOTS of gratuitous beefcake and cameos.
From the minds of Steve Carell and Nancy Walls.

"Can I see your badge?"
"No you can't, because I'm wearing dance shorts."
"I think she said 'badge'."

I wasn't wild about the first episode, but I love the cast, especially Deon Cole, so I'll give a few more episodes a try today.

Thanks for the tip, Namo. If, like me, you didn't tape the marathon, the show starts airing in a regularly weekly schedule starting January 25. More here. Someone should feel free to bump this thread close to Jan. 25 to remind us to set our DVRs.

Cool. Personally, I prefer to watch from the beginning, even if they are self-contained eps.

I watched six. They're good. Lots and lots of sight gags and things that require your full attention.
I don't love it like I love Telenovela, but it's good.

Except for the marathon was all of season 1 and season 2 will premiere on Jan 25 airing weekly.
As as for the show itself I thought the first episode had some laugh out loud moments but the rest of the episode were not up to the same level. I was a big fan of Police Squad! when I was younger and maybe children find these incessant puns funny but I do not.

There's usually one thing that catches me off guard and makes me laugh out loud in each episode.

Clyde - for some reason I can't quote your post, but according to Variety, each premiere episode of season 2 will be followed by a corresponding ep from season 1. All of season 1 is on TBS.com right now, but looks like they expire tomorrow.
"After the 25-hour marathon showing of the first season is over, TBS will air ten more episodes of the show, one per week, pairing each with one with an encore of one of the ten that have already aired.
The additional ten episodes are scheduled to debut at 9:30 p.m. Mondays, starting Jan. 25, and will subsequently be made available across on-demand venues. The encores will follow at 10 p.m."
