I really don't know what to think any more. These guys met less than a year ago and they are asking for people to help pay to help get their parents out to the wedding in South Africa.
Oh, and they aren't having just the one wedding. Since they are 'world travelers' they are having four 'parties' around the globe.
My favorite is his reasoning for asking total strangers to give him money...
"I raise money for causes and organizations in the community frequently, and never ask for anything in return. Please help me be selfish for once as I raise money to help my parents attend my wedding."
Yes, they are perfect looking, but...
No, they are not "perfect" looking. One takes too many steroids and the other has bad plastic surgery and fake hair.

Oh god, it's the kind of selfishness I haven't seen since the '70s. "For ONCE I'm going to do something for the one person I always ignore: ME!"
They're world travelers, having four weddings and they won't pay for the parents to attend?
I wouldn't give them money if I were suffocating and there was oxygen in their balls.
(does that statement ring a bell for anyone, lol?)
Yes! LOL
And I only meant perfect in that Ken Doll, plastic, fake sort of way.
I'm more surprised that there hasn't been an article about their hardship in the NYTimes.

I don't know about anybody else, but when I raise money for campaigns or causes, that *is* me asking for something.
It's you asking for a reward for having done a good deed, right?
And no, not the reward of knowing you have contributed to a fight you believe in or the reward of knowing you've helped someone.
I meant, like, cool stuff.

I think I've changed my mind about same-sex marriage.

RIGHT?
These gays HAVE ruined marriage!
ETA according to their page, they want their wedding to be special, not just someplace where it"s legal. Duh!
I'm still all broken up about the break-up of Bob and Rod Jackson-Paris.
I actually spent a sleepless night on the couch of one of them.
Totally forgot about it until I saw those pics.

They are the template for what happens when you make a big deal in the media about your gay relationship. The same is gonna happen to the four party Ken dolls and Jamie Kilt & The Huscub.
Its this whole "it takes a villsge" mentality that is everywhere.
If you can't afford a big wedding, children, a house or a car DONT HAVE IT!
On tye other hand you know same sex marriage has arrived when gays can make dicks of themselves just as much as straights.
Why haven't they called David Tutera?
From the donation page's website comments:
"I'll be watching your wedding live on SeanCody on Jan 4th"
lol
Maybe they should spend less money on steroids...
They could probably fly ALL of their friends to SA with that money...
I just bought them a wedding gift from GOFVCKYOURSELF.com
Wow, the comments on their fund-raiser page are not pretty. AND you have to donate a dollar just to leave a comment. They may get close to their goal just from people telling them what self-centered tw*ts they are.

I didn't realize the one flies all over the place to be in body building competitions. This fact adds the whole "I get wealthy gay men to 'sponsor' me all the time and I'm used to them giving me what I ask for" aspect to the situation.
But to back up for a second: We've had hundreds (thousands?) of years of the bride's parents paying for all sorts of outlandish weddings. And in even the most accepting of families I haven't heard of either groom's mom and dad ponying up. Of course I don't know; maybe it does happen.
But my point is, it's not as though heterosexual couples always save for years so they can pay for their own wedding.
So as much as I find these guys icky, I'm not sure what the model should be.

Good point. The bottom's parents should pay for everything.

Oh darn...NOW I find out about this! I already donated my discretionary money this month on Brazilian Wax treatments for penniless Vervet Monkeys.
