silly, mb, haven't you heard? it's going to be a landslide for bammy. these polls are meaningless since cell phone only users - like me, funny enough - are all supposedly going to vote for bammy and no one even considers them. he will win a landlside of historic proportions.

I never expected this to be a blowout, though I would hope for it. I look at it this way - Bush has a 30% approval rating, which I'll refer to as the moron vote. There is also some unknown voting block that will never vote for a black man, which I'll refer to as the racist vote. Now, even assuming there is major overlap between the morons and the racists, the combined moron/racist block has to put McCain somewhere near 40%. Add in those who would vote Republican irrespective of the candidate, and there's no way this is a blowout.

I think we are starting to see a cluster of Mondale-Dukakis proportions.

I am not sastified with Obama's response this past week, and I think going on vacation was a really dumb move (now that I think about it, didn't Dukakis do the same thing?) And if you all don't think there really is a "Bradley effect," trust someone who has managed political campaigns in rural areas. Obama needs to move aggressively now, because a lot of the goodwill he has built up among independants is eroding.

I really hope we are not spending the Wednesday morning after election day what went wrong.
