he went to my highschool so he comes every year...he's awesome, be sure to do monologues for him he helps so much.

Yeah he seemed like a mellow guy. He came kinda late so we only had 30 minutes for Q&A, and he answered our questions. In case anyone cares, "Dazed and Confused" was his favorite movie to work on, and he likes acting on stage more than movies. I asked him what the broadway audition process was like and he explained the open audition and the invite audition processes. Then at the end someone asked him to sing a song, so he sang "Seasons of Love" for us. I was in a picture someone took, so I'll probabily be able to post it pretty soon :) .

The things i would do for a cahnce to have him come to my school...


We have a wall of mirrors in my drama class (for monologues and the like) and we have a section for inspiring quotes, and I put a few of his up.

i met him two days ago at a book signing. He was super nice and he signed all our books, took pictures, and sang for us. He was like five feet away from me singing "Seasons of Love!" I got it on video. Make sure you read his memoir before you meet him- it will make it much better
