I could listen to his voice all day!

I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&. "Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."

Michael Buble is f*cking genius! i love this guy! i have all his CDs... his concerts always sell out and i never get to go... but he's awesome... funny how i got into him... his video kept playing before the movies started in the AMC movie theater.. haha.. none of my friends know how he is. sad

I love Buble. All his albums are great. His version of Feelin' Good is just fantastic.

And I love Home. Whenever that comes on in the car I sing (or scream depending on you're pov) along with him every time.

And yes, he can put me in a Christmas mood, too (his Christmas album is good, by the way. I have it, but not handy, and think it's "Let It Snow.")

He always used to get criticized for sounding like the "new" Sinatra - but who cares, really, with THAT gorgeous melodious voice?

He's good, but my Power Flex teacher at the gym is obsessed with him and plays him during cool down every SINGLE class, so I started to get tired of him.

I actually prefer Harry Connick Jr.

His Caught in the Act concert is so much fun. I've never seen him live but he puts on a great performance. Not only does he have the vocal chops but he's so personable.

I know it's sort of off-topic, but every time I listen to Michael Buble, I'm reminded of Little Jack Melody and His Young Turks. Very similar voices. My friends and I used to see Little Jack perform every chance we got in the mid-90s. Give "Close, No Cigar" or "J'ai Faim Toujours" a listen and tell me if I'm totally crazy.

Little Jack and His Young Turks are a fun listen, but live, they were an EVENT. He usually played in dive bars and the eclectic crowd would often show up in a wide array of costumes (we preferred mock prom outfits) and impromptu amateur ballroom dancing would often commence. Their bass line was usually a tuba and Little Jack would sometimes pick up a banjo or trumpet. Cover songs would include Bavarian oompah renditions of Come On Feel the Noise in 3/4 time or Ode to Joy with the lyrics written in German on cue cards for an audience singalong. And I always looked forward to Weill's "Alabama Song" performed with chilling gusto. I miss those concerts so much. My good friend (and journalist) and I were just reminiscing over these concerts over lunch at the Cafe Edison just before I caught the matinee of Rock of Ages a couple of months ago.
