Anyone see "The Class?"

Okay, just finished watching the series premiere on CBS. Anyone else see it?

I thought it was okay.

Was that Sam Harris as the blonde's husband?

re: Anyone see 'The Class?'

i saw the tivo preview from september 11th, i think it was...

awful. i found it to be sophomoric at best and each character was more stereotypical than the rest. with that said, i'm sure it will run for at least eight years.

I second what Robb said. Other than Jesse Tyler Furgeson, no one in the cast was able to rise above the mediocre material. Hopefully the series will find it's legs as it goes on. But, yeah - bleech.

Didn't care for it. I'll probably give it another chance if nothing else is on and I'm bored.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

There's only so many reruns of the Antiques Roadshow that I can tolerate.

Eh.

I watched it. Don't know if I'll watch again. The only one that stood out was Jesse Tyler Ferguson (it was really funny that he delayed his suicide attempt so he wouldn't have to miss out on a social gathering). I liked his interaction w/the hat chick. The rest is so predictable. The jilted romantic guy will develop a friendship and an eventual romance with the jaded, cynical bitch. She'll fall hard for him, and the ex-fiancee will show up on the season finale.

Lots of promise, not a good start. I liked the actors (was that Zooey Deschanal?) but they have to get better writing.

I read that this is the best of the first three eps. It's only downhill from here.

One hot boy does not really entice me to watch a show, RobbO.

I can't watch it anyway. I just wanted to join in on the negativity.

I like to belong.

I actually tried to watch it once more last night and just couldn't. Hottie Wentworth aside, I just can't get into it.

i count three. three hot boys. and a good plot. good acting. good writing. good character development. ya know, the things that were not displayed in the series premiere of "the class."

re: Anyone see 'The Class?'

I absolutely hated this show.
The amount of predictablity was ridiculous, as was almost every gag, and all of the characters were not just stereotypical, but had annoying tics. I thought the woman playing Lina was doing somkind of horrible Judy Garland impression for most of the show and while Jessie T. Ferguson was alright he seemed to be playing the exact same character he played in Spelling Bee.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

re: Anyone see 'The Class?'

Yeah, penguin, I got that feeling about Ferguson just from the promos.

re: Anyone see 'The Class?'

Eh.
Liked some of the actors, especially Goldenhersh, Fergusen and the twin sister (weird set up there, tho...could they look any different?)

I dont think it's much worse than the three sitcoms following it. I'll tivo the next ep. and probably never watch it.

Leaf Coneybear with a deathwish?

And you're right...the predictability was the worst thing about it.
