The show definitely has my interest - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do agree that it needs something for it to last. If I knew what I'd be in Hollywood making the big bucks.

And funny ... I told my boyfriend as we were watching that it was like watching Fame all over again. I loved the first season of Fame.

I don't think she's pretending. It's one of those "hysterical" pregnancy things. She's showing signs, but there's no baby. I cracked up when the doctor said there was no baby and she asked if it fell out!

I wonder what Cheyenne's part will be on the episode he's scheduled to be in. Also Kristin Chenoweth, Victor Garber and Debra Monk are all going to show up at some point.

I loved the show and it was a strong pilot.

But I fear loving any scripted show on network TV today since they are always being cancelled.

I'll second that.

Thirded! It's nice to know from fairly early on that a series was worth tuning in for. :3 Will definitely continue watching, but it really does need to perk up. Some actual characterisation instead of stereotypes and blandness would be nice, but I imagine that would come with a continued series and isn't so easy to cram into a single pilot being shown months ahead of the rest. :)

The whole tone was quite quirky 'Election' based I felt.

Overall, I think it definitely shows potential...but it strikes me as a 'Pushing Daisies' type show, will do alright for a season but the novelty won't follow for much longer. Not really impressed with the gay kid - in fact, he was probably the worst character...just very stereotypical and very grating. The whole jock with a heart was a bit of an eye-rolling moment too. Lea Michelle, along with the Coach, were the highlights for me.

The sound of the music was also too edited and it didn't need to be because they can sing.


All in all, I look forward to seeing where it's going...lets just hope they don't can it before it even gets a chance.


Number 1 on itunes though...promising sign?

Beergoggles- You can watch it on Hulu.com, which is where I watched it.

Wait, I totally didn't see anything about there being no baby! I was actually thinking that she was pretending that she was pregnant so Matthew would quit his job & work at the accounting place. Overall, I really liked the show. I liked the music, & it was funny. I was totally shocked & annoyed that it's not going to play new episodes until the fall. I was ready to watch this all throughout the summer. I definitely thought football guy would have a better voice, but he's good enough. Not gonna lie, I got ridiculously excited when Lea started to sing On My Own. Can't wait to see more of this show!

Yeah i managed to stream it =) I enjoyed it and will defo be streaming again. I didn't get the lost baby thing... i thought it was a ploy to lure him into accounting. Loved the song at the end =)

If I remember what I read correctly, Garber and Monk are supposed to play Matt's parents. Cheno plays an alcoholic ex cheerleader I think. I know it's an alcoholic something.

Yes shirtless Matt time is something I grately look forward too *sigh*

It seems to be a hit with a fairly widespread audience, which is something I didn't expect. My principal asked if I'd seen it, and then went on to rave about how wonderful it was. Meanwhile, I had to stop my 5th graders from singing "Don't Stop Believin' " when they were on stage yesterday getting ready for their concert!
