I hadn't seen this, Addy, so thanks for posting it. It told a great story and I found it very moving and affecting, without being precious or overly sentimental. And it also made be tear up, but I'm a pretty easy target.

I didn't take it that way at all. It SEEMED as though he wasn't present, but he caught lots of lovely little moments of his family, and FOR his family. He showed them tiny bits of life that they, themselves, would have otherwise missed.
