Next week is about this...
But it's also about this!
LOVE
That's a pretty tight ass.
I have to say I thought Justin's making out with a girl was pretty random. And stupid. I'm going to be mad if they try to make him straight.

They won't make him strait, he's just dealing with his dads death.
Next week is going to be fabulous!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
My best friend was freaked out and upset when he saw Justin kissing a girl. I thought it was perfectly normal and to me it makes him even gayer. He thinks he has to act like his dad and reject who he is in order to get closer to him. It is a very nice way of exploring his grief. They aren't trying to make him straight, it's all part of his journey as a kid.
I truly hated the Whilhemina/Wanda revelation, it came out of nowhere and was so inconsistent with the rest of the show. As brilliant as UGLY BETTY is, if there is something that bothers me is the writer's inconsistencies.

great, wonderful episode!!
Loved Cliff/Mark-ness, the Hilda/Justin scene was great and I practically melted at the end with Betty and Henry.
I was having a really bad day, and this show just makes everything better!
Next week should be great!

Henry and Betty go to see Wicked on a date, complications ensue.

I have been meaning to catch up and start watching. I have one Thursday obsession. I don't need two.
Cliff and Mark. OMG.
That apartment scene was the most beautiful thing.
I hope it lasts!
Cliff and Marc. So adorable. I wanted to do Cliff's "happy dance"! It's also really nice to have Marc start to have his own storyline.
And I love Betty and Henry finally accepting their connection. The tension between them was palpable the whole episode.
Happy all around...until November sweeps starts...
Hoorah for Betty and Henry! At last some happiness for those two, even if they are bringing back annoying sandwich guy next week.
I was super surprised at Marc's decision. When Cliff said he thought there was more to him then that, I thought to myself that this character has known him for one day and I've known him since the first episode and there never has been anything more to him so it's odd that all the sudden there is. Especially with that underwear model running around. I'm happy for Henry and Betty, if for no other reason then to get to see more of Christopher Gorham.

Christina mentioned last season that she had a husband she left behind when she came to the states. I believe in effect, she was escaping him at the same time as she was looking for more opportunities for herself.
As for Marc, there has always been a little something more to him.... he just doesn't really show the substance. But I like that we're getting to see the substance of Marc now as well.

I don't get why people keep calling plot twists "random." Would you prefer that the show was totally predicable and spelled everything out?
Anyone else think Cliff is really cute?

i do think its a little cheaty to have cliff & marc's relationship move so fast.

DM - I do! Those eyes, are you kidding me? And that attitude - I just love it
I don't think it was too cheaty...they were just watching a movie, I thought it was fairly innocent.
CATSNYrevival, of course there has to be some substance to Marc, this storyline is just their first attempt to make all of us see that; he was basically the last character to get his own real storyline, aside from the one-off last season when Patti was on.

i think there shouldve been a scene with marc out on the date with the underwear model, realizes he needs something more...THEN comes back to cliff.
yes, we know there is more to marc, but give me a break, he's not gonna learn a "life lesson" in three minutes towrds the end of one episode!
