Well, I'll be darned, Keen, you're right - it was a smallpox vaccine! See what happens to your memory after 50? Do they even vaccinate against smallpox these days?
I ran home from school to watch Richard Greene as Robin Hood. The original McDreamy.

Posted: 7/19/07 at 10:26pmGetting al dressed up just to take a trip on a plane. In 1960 we flew to Florida in a Constellation prop plane. I was wearing a brand new dress and patent leather Mary Janes and couldn't wait to see my grandparents in Miami. The flight took 4 hours as this wasn't a jet. Needless to say, my 6 month old baby brother got airsick and vomited all over me.

>> One banana, two banana, three banana, four!
I hate the "wouldnt this be a great idea for a musical?" threads, but a friend burned a CD of the Banana Splits record for me, and I cant help but think that there's a very cool show under there, much in the vein of "Drowsy Chaperone" but much, much darker. After all, when we were kids watching this stuff, didnt we all imagiine the world was gonna be just as perfect when we grew up? Then look what happened.

The 4:30 Movie on WABC-TV Channel 7.
It's what got me to love "old" movies. As a kid I would watch everything from Elvis to Beach Party flicks to Valley of the Dolls (which they would show in two parts!)

All your favorite TV and movie actors appeared every week in your favorite movie and teen magazines. Movie Stars, SilverScreen, Photoplay, 16, Tiger Beat, and more. You'd go to the drug store, grab the latest off the racks and then head over to the soda fountain for french fries and lemon cokes. This was the ONLY way to end a school day!

The stories are here, they're all in here
There are no locks on story box - on story box..
"I learned it from watching you dad!"
When "Luke, I am you Father" wasn't a cliche or punchline and was actually startling
