Posted: 6/11/09 at 12:45pmI can't wait to hear the news stories tomorrow about all the people screaming and crying "my TV doesn't work, my TV doesn't work".. OK, maybe i'm being a little harsh, but the media has been talking about this for the last 2 yrs!

I love that the logo they are using here is a TV with Rabbit ears and static.
Is that what we are getting?!
Besides, I can't do a thing with my hair.

Posted: 6/11/09 at 12:48pmThank God! I'm so sick of the warnings and commercials that have been plaguing my television for the past year! I figure people should be educated enough to "upgrade" their systems by now or they don't deserve to watch TV.

Posted: 6/11/09 at 12:50pmI agree Mauri. It's like they have been forecasting the apocalypse. If you aren't ready, you deserve to watch static.

Posted: 6/11/09 at 12:52pmI know Taz. It leaves you more time for theatre. You can only do so much.

Posted: 6/11/09 at 5:03pmI do have one tv in the kitchen. I got a box for it. All these channels I never heard of pop up. How do I find out what they are? It is a little kitchen tv so there is no info on screen.

So if it's gone digital, does that mean that you'll be able to find any show on your computer eventually?
If so, TV is coming to get me!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Posted: 6/11/09 at 9:34pmWe have already gone digital. The pixilation is really annoying. It was happening a lot in the beginning but is not as bad now.

This is affecting me. I have a tube tv in my kitchen. I got the converter box and followed the directions on the screen to set it up. I'm not sure I did it right though, because I don't have a great picture. I won't know until tomorrow if I set it up correctly.

Posted: 6/11/09 at 10:03pmApparently not enough people were ready for it. It sounds like the only people who would not be ready are those without cable, and who refuse to get the converter box.

My partner's "accidental" cable was lost after the big ice storm in December, so we invested in two converter boxes and indoor antennas. The picture on the majority of the channels (all 19 of them) is great but a couple are really affected by pixellation...
Oh yeah...and we have to rescan channels tomorrow to see if we lost or gained anything.
