I agree everythingtaboo.
Even though I am a fan of Howard, if he retired tomorrow, I would still keep my Sirius subscription. I love the variety of music and the lack of commercials. I could never go back to listening to regular radio.

Jane2, Howard begins his show on Howard 100 Mon-Thu at 6am ET until whenever he's finished, usually 11ish. From that time, there's the Wrap-Up Show, which is the call-in show with Gary and John Hein (and various 'cast members') until 12pm.
Then the six-hour block runs continuously until 6am the next morning. So essentially you have 4 chances a day to listen to the show.
Then there's the West Coast feed on Howard 101, which runs once at 6am PT. And since the feed on Howard 100 is broadcast live across the country, people on the West Coast can listen to the beginning and the end of the same show at the same time!
Then on the weekends, they usually run the Mon and Wed shows on Saturday, and the Tue and Thu shows on Sunday.
(pushdabutton, I'm suddenly having flashbacks to Tim Sabean's programming grid!)

Posted: 4/14/08 at 11:49pmHe went to Amsterdam, but he didn't return the calls to the other guys that went. He didn't show up at the dinner they were all supposed to go to, which is the one thing he said he would do with them once he got there.

Posted: 4/14/08 at 11:59pmI couldn't imagine he would. He's probably really embarrassed about the whole situation, and he's afraid of ruining everyone's vacation with any tension. Say what you will, but he never likes to ruin anyone's good time.

I mean, he was clear that he wasn't going to be hanging with them, but the one thing he wanted to do was take them to dinner. I guess he didn't want to be around Teddy. I just worry about him there alone with all the available drugs.

It is hard to watch, but he's the only one who can stop it.
I think it's time for him to grow up. His choice.
Plus-I wouldn't wait for anyone including him to put an end to his drama-it makes for a good Stern show.
