the problem is, we read everything posted here and we put our own inflection and delivery on the posts--that's why we can't tell when someone is sarcastic, or joking, or really being a nasty queen....i'm pretty new here and i find the ferociousness a little odd...it's just a play folks....

Nice is different than good, but it's also different than insipid. Would "polite" be a more appropriate thing to ask for?

You're right, redhot. And it doesn't have anything to do with 'nasty queens'. It has everything to do with NASTY PEOPLE. No one should have to put up with it. And no one has the right to be that way to others. Show that you know how to live in decent company - or go back to the cave you were raised in. I'm sorry if that sounds a little nasty itself, but sometimes the rancor and bitterness shown here really gets to me.

I think of myself as a pretty nice person...I hope people agree. If there is a "queen" on this board who is bitchy at me...i just ignore it. They aren't worth my time.

I know I am a nice person and polite, and good, too, just to be clear.
I've learned in my life however that there are some people one encounters who only comprehend when they are addressed in the same manner they speak to others. It is unfortunately sad that rudeness and sarcasm is often times the only social interaction that allows people like that to feel confident about themselves.
