That was adorable. She's sassy. Is that your video?
Yes. I took it last night at her birthday party.
From her divine birthday blouse to her fabulous rendition of "Making Whoopee", Aunt Gladys has it all going! Happy Birthday Aunt Gladys!
She was quite the fancy dancer in her time, Glebb--strictly Arthur Murray stuff, but she would have give you a pretty good twirl around the dance floor!
So cute! Thanks for sharing that, PalJoey.
If you leave feedback on the YouTube thread, my cousin Robert said he will read them to Aunt Gladys.
PalJoey, she is a gem!
Thank you for sharing her with us, and hope you're having a wonderful time!
That is truly wonderful, PJ! What a remarkable person she is! ( I left a comment for her, too.)
She also sang "Hello, Young Lovers" and "Some Enchated Evening," but I didn't post those videos because she couldn't remember a lot of the words.
Then they played "Tonight" for her to sing along to, but she didn't like the bossa nova beat they put to it. She kept tolling her eyes and shaking her head.
She's absolutely precious!

she's great!
she's still got the timing!
PJ, are you in the vid?
She is adorable.
No--I'm the cameraman. My sister and bother-in-law is in the video briefly at the end. Aunt Gladys's son is the one holding the microphone.
Norn--you should have seen the timing of the look she gave the band when they told her they would play "Tonight" from West Side Story and then started to play a bossa nova. It was withering.
classic, pj. whatta dame!
