I had no idea that an Australian version of the show existed until tonight, when the season nine premiere popped up on YouTube! I know we have fans of the show on the board, so I thought I would post here to let everyone know. It also looks like seasons one through five are available on Paramount+, so I’m sure by this time next week I will have made my way through all of those.
And for this new season, my Queen Sandra is playing!!!!

Aaahhhhhhh I love Sandra!!!!! I knew there was an Australian version but never had an interest in watching. I’ll have to watch this season just for her!!

Australian Survivor is SO GOOD! It's kind of annoying how they released it on Paramount+ because I ended up watching All Stars before the previous seasons and two winners were on. The guys are some of the hottest in the franchise. There are always moves that leave you shook!
I'm watching S1 now but have just started S9 because Sandra is obviously everything. One thing to keep in mind is that it airs multiple times a week so the seasons are pretty long.

Sandra said this season will be on Paramount+ starting Jan 31st so I’m going to just stop scouring the Internet 3x a week for eps and just wait and watch it there. I’m also watching season 1 right now and my God, Lee is perfect. How can a human being be so beautiful?

I wasn’t even thinking. Yeah, every article says it’s airing on P+ the same time (with a slight delay due to time difference) in Australia and here. But it’s not up there so I’m confused. Sorry for that. Gonna Google and see if I can find some news.

Also, my favorite thing about this version really is that the episodes are longer and there’s more of them which really gives it time to focus on the players and their gameplay/strategy in a way the US version can’t. So far, I’m enjoying this much more than any season I’ve seen in quite a while.

Jonathan looks so much like his brother.
I just finished season one and from the final challenge through the end, I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much on an episode of this show.

This is so crazy. It looks like the removed all the international versions fro Paramount Plus. I can’t find any information on why. Jordan, have you found anything?

I was literally in the middle of an episode when they disappeared. This HAS to be a glitch. They advertised the hell out of these seasons being in P+ and to just remove them out of the blue a few weeks later would be insane.

Looks like it's not a glitch and might not be able to be easily resolved. This is bad publicity for Paramount Plus.

Yeah it looks like a rights issue… hopefully it gets resolved or P+ issues a statement as they haven’t said anything. AU, NZ, and South Africa were all removed. AU Survivor was also removed from Prime Video.

Thank you Jordan! I just got approved for the group a little bit ago and now staying in and watching season 1! I was only 5 episodes in when they disappeared.
