I used to get these all the time on my work email.......
I got an email today saying I won a million euros, etc. I didn't even read the rest.
Thanks for some reason, a few recent threads are not appearing on my computer screen.
Gah, I always get the fake emails regarding viagra, and I'm girl...never the stuff about winning money. If someone's gonna spam me, at least give me something to laugh about.
Oh, I just checked my email. Subject: "What's up, Bartholomew?" Ha, I've been redeemed.

I used to always get that sort of junk with my old e-mail account. I have Gmail, and I get none of that now.
It does not matter what kind of account you have. If your email address is on a page somewhere on the internet or if you used it to register for something, chances are that you will be spammed. Spammers search the web for email addresses and they sometimes buy lists from places where you have signed up or registered for something.
