I really really don't want to. But after watching one episode I will get hooked, and dragged in again. And Whizzer, you're right. I enjoy reading and posting about it on here more than I do watching the show

I'm the only one of my friends who watch it so I definitely look forward to coming here after an episode to see what everyone else thought.
Yes, BB is mindless (sometimes I fear even harmful to the brain) fun, but it's exactly the type of show you need during the summer. As long as Julie Chen shows up, so will I.

Julie Chen has the luckiest gig in TV between this and Talk. How she do it? Both on CBS too! Its almost like she married the head of the Network!

Okay, I'm rooting for Bronte. She's smart and athletic, but still an underdog in their eyes. Can't stand the celebrity make up artist and Paul is annoying, but hot as hell. Glad D'Vanne is back. Love her one liners, but she won't last long. Frank shouldn't have cut his hair. And the nutritionist is really smart.

Random thoughts:
Tiffany is such a dead ringer for Vanessa that I wouldn't be surprised if she actually IS Vanessa with a few fake tattoos and a dye job. The tone of her voice and all the different inflections are completely identical to Vanessa's. It's eerie and I'm surprised more people didn't confront her about it right away.
Paulie also looks an awful lot like Cody, especially given the same body type and tattoo placements. I think he was smart to come out with the truth earlier rather than later; maybe he didn't have the exact perfect timing to break the news, but it will work in his favor, especially when compared to Tiffany trying to keep her identity a secret.
Did Da'Vonne learn nothing from the first time she was in the house??? She's playing WAY too hard too soon and stop with all the tears! It's day one!
I didn't recognize Frank at all when he popped out of the chest. It wasn't until they rolled the old footage that I was like, Oh, Carrot Top Frank! Without the hair he's a very different looking guy. Very handsome and rugged now. Love that he brought his Memphis t-shirt back into the house. I clapped when he wore it in the diary room.
Paul is obnoxious and needs to go. I think Victor seems fun and has the potential to be the guy who throws his whole game away for a showmance. My first impression of the cast was largely positive. There doesn't appear to be a JennCity in the mix.
Jury is still out on the whole teams business, but at least it won't be the same old alpha male alliance getting together picking off everyone else for the first half of the game.
Have they said if there will be Battle of the Block this season? I pray not. Let's get back to having just one HOH please.

Dramamama, You gotta watch last night 's episode. You will roll your eyes at some of the statements these people make. Don't leave the room when Victor speaks to Nicole. You will certainly laugh at his obvious method of strategy.

I'm liking the vets far more than any of the new houseguests this season. Nicole is very impressive in her handling of both Corey and Victor; Da'Vonne did a good job just letting Jozea run his mouth.
Lots of great laughs. Love Victor taking his shirt off in an attempt to fluster Nicole! Hilarious!
Jozea saying he was the messiah of the group is pretty funny too.
I can totally understand the newbies wanting to pick off the vets one by one, but they are being so stupid in letting them all know that so blatantly. Why aren't they pretending to befriend the vets and ask for advice on how to play the game, lulling them into a sense of false comfort as they get ready to stab them in the back? Idiots.
The one false move I think Nicole made was putting Paulie up next to Jozea. He was one of the few newbies making connections with the vets and willing to work with them.

Paul makes me want to throw things - every word that comes out of his mouth is obnoxious and annoying. He has absolutely terrible game play, and trying to build a newbies vs vets alliance and being the face of it is just as stupid as Joey several seasons back trying to build her all girls alliance. He's too loud and obnoxious to last too long, and will get the boot really quick because he can't keep his mouth shut. He should however be grateful Jozea is such a bigger target this week, although things can easily change between now and eviction.
Jozea is the second most annoying person in the house, and I LIVED for Mama Da's read of him in the diary room about how he called himself the Messiah and was acting like he won when "you still broke, ain't no money in your pocket". Also, calling yourself the Messiah is great - because that worked out so well for the actual Messiah since they - you know - crucified him.
Victor telling Nicole his entire plan was just like - is this guy THAT stupid? It's a good thing he's nice to look at because brains he has none. I bet he'll be the Caleb to Natalie's Amber and throw his entire game just to woo her, although I think Natalie will be far more into it than Amber was into Caleb.
The minute Glenn walked in the house I knew he'd be the first to go, but I have to give him credit for putting up a pretty decent fight.
Bronte when she is finished with this game needs to go into voice over work on animated cartoons, because she will make BANK.
Michelle rubs me the wrong way with her preachy dietitian crap.
Paulie is very nice to look at and I can see he's a good competitor like his brother was, and I do hope him being a pawn doesn't screw up his game.
Tiffany is basically Vanessa only less annoying, so I can sort of roll with that - I loved when Mama Da was like - crying is hereditary when Tiffany was freaking out.
I think Bridgette is adorable and really spunky - a la Nicole when she first started.
Corey is definitely the typical southern charm with not much going on, but I feel like there's definitely some fight in him.
The rest are kind of just floating at the moment, but those are just the ones I picked up on. I LOVE Nicole and I am so glad to see her back, and I definitely think she's doing a pretty good job so far. It helps that these newbies are morons, so Mama Da, Nicole, and co can definitely take advantage. Also, a big fan of Mama Da, because she definitely keeps it real, but she really does need to keep her game in check because you don't want to go too big, too soon. Frank's season I didn't watch, but I like him. James was eh during his season, but he seems less annoying than before.

^ You must go back and watch Frank's season (BB14)!! It is one of my favorites, with Dan's funeral was possibly the single greatest con/move to pull off the game has seen. I also adored Dan's manipulation of Danielle and her hopeless devotion to the obviously not interested Shane.
I know no one has the extra time to waste, but it was a good season.
The Victor/Caleb comparison is a good one. I think Caleb was a little smarter than Victor though and definitely was more loyal. Poor Amber- she really just wasn't interested!

I just realized I did watch part of Frank's season and didn't realize it because that was the season where my queen Britney Haynes came back and was a coach/mentor. I vaguely remember the funeral part and thinking it was genius, and I'm not really sure why I stopped watching or forgot so quickly. Also, I just realized I remember Frank from that season, but as people have mentioned the hair change makes it hard to remember him.
Oh yeah, Caleb had a little bit more brain to him and was less of a floater. Amber tried so hard to get him to realize she had no interest, and yet - he just kept on, kept on.

I feel like the cast is a little more ghetto than usual. And the fact that the men are all growing out their facial hair is not helping matters...Some of them look like they have bird nests on their faces.

Anybody else getting a "in the closet" vibe from Cory? I read that before he went into the house and also since he has been in the house, he has a tendency to use the words " that's gay" in a derogatory way. His explanation is that is how " everyone where he is from talks" He is also constantly informing those that he is not gay. But watching him on the show (his mannerisms and eye contact) and his descriptions of the other guys has me wondering, hmm? He is already in trouble with viewers about some of the stories he has told while on the show. (He and his friends attempting to light a goat on fire) Disappointing. Cuz he seemed like a nice guy at the start. My feelings about Bronte has changed. At first impression, I thought of her in one way. Now, not so positive. Also, I am trying to find out how tall Paul is. When i see him standing in the show, he looks like he can be at the most 5'3.

How does one get this delusional this fast? They've been in the house for one week! You could almost feel EVERYONE in that room thinking he was being a pompous idiot.
AND.....since She Loves Me is streaming tonight, most of us wont be watching BB's eviction until much later!
