when i read the first post i thought, "oh god--i just can't HAVE this conversation."
i heart june lockhart. she was lovely in Meet Me In St. Louis which i just watched again last week.
what i remember about the song. i remember singin:

think these may have been spoof lyrics. i was like 3 at the time and just sang along...

I can't get the first few lines of the theme of LOVE AMERICAN STYLE out of my head now (they're all I know). Someone mentioned Imogene Coca in IT'S ABOUT TIME, what about the series where she was a maid(I think) GRINDYL (sp?)? I saw a must have DVD yesterday...LANCE LINK! Ah memories.

I cannot believe that NO ONE here mentioned that June Lockhart was the mom on Lassie.

Back in the very early 1990's June Lockhart finally had an entry in Contemporary Theatre, Film, and Television, a large set my company publishes....and she called in to order one of the volumes for her daughter Anne, also an actress.

Lost in Space, LOVED IT.....I always wanted an episode where Don (the pilot) and John (the dad) had an affair......sigh

OMG, the Hillbillies are at the Shady Rest right now.
Uncle Joe, Granny, Ellie-Mae, Jethro (thump thump) and the Bradley girls all together in one half hour show. Genius!
