As far as I can find, though, we don't know WHY this person left...

I'm pretty disappointed too. Though it's strange that the person's picture is still in color on the feeds (from what I've read, I don't subscribe).

Serves the producers right. So much for their stunt casting and dopey twists. Now they're stuck with Danielle. She couldn't be more boring. You know the only reason they brought the two of them back was for him. Now who are they gonna team her up with?

Yes...but it actually worked for them. This season premiere was up in rating quite a bit from last year....yeah. Serves them right...they got their ratings!

Like I said... people are going to watch regardless. You could fill the house with 12 hamsters and people would still watch. There are a lot of bored people out there who get off on living vicariously through others and have nothing better to do all summer.

Hey, I have better to do - I just really enjoy this show. I am not ashamed of that. It's cheesy as hell, but I love game play and watching when you get good players in there manipulating others. Same reason I love Survivor. It's not about vicarious living - it's about how the game is played.

Evil Dick was one of my favorites because like him or hate him, he had a strategy that ultimately worked. I wouldn't want to know him in real life, but he was interesting as hell to watch.

Rachel is annoying, but she's a good player.

Jeff and Jordan also managed to maneuver their way to a win, and it was fascinating watching them do it.

The greatest "game player" I think I've ever seen on any reality show was Dr. Will.

Who knows if any of these new players have that kind of game? It's not about hook ups or watching them "live" - I don't care about that - it's all about the game for me.

I enjoy it too. I wasn't trying to knock anyone for watching. I think it can be an interesting social experiment. I'm just tired of them bringing back people who have played the game before, and all of the unnecessary twists every 5 minutes. Just get 12-13 new people with diverse backgrounds and put them together for the summer. Let things unfold naturally. They didn't plan Boogie and Dr. Will. It just happened. It's all become too orchestrated and forced. As I said, it's time they got back to basics.

I wouldn't complain about going back to basics, but PLEASE don't go back to season one with America voting out. THAT was a disaster!

Why can't BB film in HD? I think it may be the only new show not in HD. Is it really that expensive? I keep thinking every year this will be the year, then it's not. Why???

Repulsive.

And I love how they gave no explanation whatsoever about Dicks sudden departure other than to say he left the show for personal reasons. C'mon... the guy was obviously strung out. He looked God-awful. Probably going through drug or alcohol withdrawels, so the producers pulled him.

They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel. The show reeks of desperation.

The Jeff incident - so disappointed in that. He did go back to Kalia and apologize later, from what I read, but that doesn't excuse him.

OK being a brit ive never really watched the US version of Big Brother but i downladed it this year (your current season) to see what it was like.
OMG its awful, sorry to the fans i don't mean any disrespect but what have the network done to a TV show where the formula is the same in each country except America?

The British one is a real event, 1000s of fans watching outside the BB house on eviction night with an icredible host (Davina Macall), the US one just seems so bland

Why is every episode of the US one about tactics and alliances etc etc etc. The whole pint of BB was to put a group of strangers together and watch them interact with each other. I know nothing about any of the US housemates and its 4 episodes in. Other BBs you can not talk about eviction and nominations with housemates, if you do you are punished. This way we get to see the group interact with each other rather than just play this dull game. The UK one is outrageous, over the top, shocking etc, this one is like some poor gameshow.

And finally, WHERE IS BIG BROTHER?
Iv'e not heard the voice of the house (Big Brother) talk, he's not making life difficult for them etc, does the US one not have a Big Brother?

I'm sure its got it's fans in America and i gave it a shot but wow, what a major let down, i really thought the US version would be a huge event like the UK one.

Guess i will have to wait for ours to start again

S&D Man, I saw the UK one a few years ago when I was in Ireland for 3 weeks and couldn't get into it at all. I guess it's all just what you're used to.
