Melanie Griffith in the aud., 2 wks in a row? Also, Jamie Lee Curtis. And that other hideous Palin person. Oh, I guess they're casting next season.

I liked how Jennifer did the one dance from Dirty Dancing she did NOT do in the film. AND the watermelon! how self referential can u get?

I rather enjoyed Bristol's "Cell Block Tango". It wasn't in the same league as Jennifer's dancing, but it was a vast improvement from Bristol's earliest efforts. She's come a long way.

I hate to bring this topic up (you know, glass houses and all), but if Bristol and Kyle have been working this hard for over three months, how have they not lost any weight? They're both so young, you'd think they'd have dropped significant weight over this much time.

Bristol's tango would have been perfectly fine for weeek two or three. For this stage of the competition, it just shows how inadequate she is. And given the freedom of the freestyle, it shows how little she is capable of, compared to her competitors.

I'm sure Bristol's "dance" to Cell Block Tango was dedicated to Levi. I just saw it on the HP because I didn't watch last night. She was basically using props to hide the fact that she really wasn't dancing. Her jive was even worse! I have never seen anyone who has made it to the finals put in such a poor performance and yet, the judges were giving her high scores. Ridiculous! Also just read that Palin's Alaska went down 40% in the ratings!

I definitely agree that she's getting too high of scores. They weren't as nice with Marie Osmond when she made it. I feel like this was the 3rd week in a row where Bristol complained about haters in her practice segment too. I don't think people would be complaining if she actually proved that she is great. But, she never does.

I've read that Kyle's lost about 20 pounds but on his body type (like my son's), it may not show as readily. My son's dropped about 30 pounds since he left for school and I see it mostly in his face.

But word about Bristol...unless the costumes are so tight they're squeezing her like a tube of toothpaste, it looks like she's actually gained weight.

And quityurbitchin. Your family's a lightning rod. Be happy that you've made it this far on dubious merit and get over yourself.

I think that Don't Tell Mama would have been a much more appropriate Kander & Ebb number for for Bristol.
