You know those little Cue & A Playbill bios where the performers fill out the little survey? I like to daydream about one day getting to fill out mine... but for the time being, how about the denizens of BroadwayWorld fill out the Playbill survey?

Zodiac sign: Aries

Audition song: My last audition song was "You Can Get Away With Anything" from the Woman In White, even though that was a man's song. The one I plan on using for my next audition is "Back To Before" from Ragtime.

Monologue you can recite from memory: My audition monologue is Anna's mother's monologue from "Anna and August." And I also know Cassius' "Why man, he doth bestride the narrow world..." speech from Julius Caesar because of a project I had to do last year.

Current show you have been recommending to friends: I HAD been recommending Spamalot. But now I'm going to have to find something new, since that's closing.

First Broadway show ever saw: The Little Mermaid. Sad, but true. And I loved it (and still do).

If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? Les Miserables-- not the revival. I would also kill to see the original cast of The Scarlet Pimpernel; I'd love to see all of Douglas Sills' antics.

Favorite showtune: "One Day More" from Les Miserables and "Sirens" from Jane Eyre.

MAC or PC? PC. No question.

Most-played song on iPod: "The Gung Song/Ballad of Czolgosz" from Assassins and "Falcon In The Dive" from the Scarlet Pimpernel.

Last book you read: "Austenland" by Shannon Hale. It was okay.

Must-see TV show: I... don't really watch TV. But I love "Drake and Josh". I'm so pathetic.

Last good movie you saw: I saw 'Hogfather', which is actually a made-for-TV movie, last night. It was great and quite true to the book. And Marc Warren gave me nightmares.

Favorite reality show: "What Not To Wear." But I've only seen it twice.

Pop culture guilty pleasure: High School Musical. This is so sad, but I love it. Oh, and the musical "CATS." I was obsessed when I was in elementary school, and it still holds a special place in my heart!

First stage kiss: In third grade, I did a really weird little play where I had to kiss a boy on the cheek. But it was interesting because I was playing a boy and he was playing a girl. And... I've never actually had a real onstage kiss. I've never had a 'romantic' role.

Favorite post-show meal: Chicken wrap, with honey mustard. Mmmm. I like to go to Friendly's after a show. One time, I went in full Wicked Witch of the West costume and makeup... that was interesting.

Pre-show rituals: Uh... none, really, unless you count being extremely on-edge and screaming at your brother on days when you have shows.

Worst onstage mishap: When I was in Pride and Prejudice, my dance partner stepped on the skirt of my dress and the entire bodice fell down around my waist. Luckily, I was wearing a bra, but I was mortified.

Special skills: Three kinds of English dialects, and a host of other weird character voices.

Cats or dogs? Cats.

Favorite pizza topping: In Sweden, I ordered a pizza by pointing at a random combo number. It turned out to have chicken, curry, pineapple, onions, and bananas. Sounds gross, but it was FANTASTIC.

Who would play you in a movie? I love Kate Winslet, but she's a lot older than I am. Maybe if I had a time machine.

Worst flubbed line: I did a show when I was ten where I had to pronounce the word 'anteaters.' In every single show, I messed it up. I still have no idea how-- now, when I try, I can't even figure OUT a possible way to mispronounce 'anteaters.'

Performer you would drop everything to go see: Michael Ball. Yes, indeed.

Worst costume ever: In “You Can’t Take It With You,” I wore this delightful ensemble—tight black velvet dress, black tights full of holes, ruby red slippers, bright red bloomers with black lace (visible under dress), long skanky looking red bathrobe, child-sized leopard coat, cats-eye glasses covered in rhinestones with no glass in them, loads of necklaces, large pimp cane with a big fake diamond on top. But I loved it.

Favorite cereal: Blueberry Morning. Yummm. Oh, and I will always love Cap'n Crunch, but I almost never eat it.

Role you've been dying to play: EDNA TURNBLAD FROM “HAIRSPRAY” IS MY DREAM ROLE. I don’t even care that that’s a role generally played by guys or that I'm small and a soprano and don't fit the role in any possible way. I’d also love to be Ursula in The Little Mermaid, Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables, or Eva Peron in Evita.

Added Schmerg question-- Favorite show altogether? Spamalot. And I also love Les Miserables.

(I'm dreaming about actually getting that job at In the Heights. So being that I'm an actor, I'm going to "act" as though I'm playing Sunny.)

Full given name:
Manuel _______ III (I'd give my actual name in the playbill one)
Hometown:
Miami, Fl
Zodiac sign:
Aquarius
Audition song:
Guantanamera
Monologue you can recite from memory:
The material from the show and the opening monologue from "The Glass Menagerie." I can also recite RENT in my sleep.
Current show you have been recommending to friends:
In the Heights, of course!
First Broadway show ever saw:
The Producers, I'm never gonna forget that show.
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be?:
I'd go back and watch the original production of "Cabaret", Joel Grey is a genius. I'd also would have loved to go back to the opening night of RENT and to see the original run of "A Raisin in the Sun" and "A Streetcar Named Desire." I don't think I could pick just one!
Favorite showtune:
Too many to pick just one!
MAC or PC?:
PC all the way. I love my HP!
Most-played song on iPod:
Let's Get Together- Madonna (I left it on repeat last night!)
Last book you read:
Fast Food Nation. I haven't had McDonald's since.
Must-see TV show:
The Office and House, those shows are hysterically funny!
Last good movie you saw:
I've been watching a lot of my old Batman VHS's lately. Just watched "Batman Forever" last night, that one's my favourite.
Favorite reality show:
Top Chef.
Pop culture guilty pleasure:
Kathy Griffin and VH1. I couldn't live without those two!
First stage kiss:
I've yet to have my first stage kiss! I need to do something about that!
Favorite post-show meal:
Whatever's around.
Pre-show rituals:
-I always warm-up my voice in the shower, and meditate for a while in character. I try to let go of my identity and just immerse myself fully in that character.
Worst onstage mishap:
-I don't think I've had any horrible onstage moment, come to think of it.
Special skills:
-I don't think I have any of those.
Cats or dogs?
-Dogs. I love how loyal they are.
Favorite pizza topping:
-Spinach and chicken in alfredo sauce. Yum.
Who would play you in a movie?
-Probably Daniel Radcliffe. I can't seem to escape being compared to him.
Worst flubbed line:
Performer you would drop everything to go see:
-I'm not sure, I'd have to think about that one.
Worst costume ever:
-In my first high school musical I had to wear a UPS man outfit from like the 70's. The pants ended up being super short and super snug! It's pretty funny in retrospect.
Favorite cereal:
-Special K. The one with yogurt and berries.
Role you've been dying to play:
-Lately it's been Boq (Wicked) or Claude (Hair). Boq goes through this transformation, in comparison to the rest of the show it's not that big a deal, but I find it brilliant. Claude is just hilarious, and I love his songs.
Added Schmerg question-- Favorite show altogether?
-Probably RENT. It was my "gateway drug". Had it not been for RENT I wouldn't have gotten into the whole musical theatre scene. And on top of everything else, it's just such a good show with a spirit that lives on even today.

Zodiac sign: Taurus
Audition song: The last audition I went on, I didn't sing. However, for the longest time, my audition song was "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" from My Fair Lady. I would love to learn "Around the World" or "Another Winter In A Summer Town" from Grey Gardens, though. Those would be amazing for an audition piece!
Monologue you can recite from memory: Nora's monologue about her father's coat pocket. (It's from Brighton Beach Memoirs).
Current show you have been recommending to friends: I think it was [title of show] for a while.
First Broadway show ever saw: First? I can't remember. It might have been Little Shop of Horrors.
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? Gypsy with Patti LuPone, when it first came to Broadway...would've loved to have seen it. I would have also loved to've seen Lotte Lenya as Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret and also in The Threepenny Opera.
Favorite showtune: It's hard to chose one, but a favorite of mine has been "I Don't Believe In Heroes Anymore" from Three Guys Naked From The Waist Down
MAC or PC? Mac, I guess.
Most-played song on iPod: I don't have an iPod, but according to my Last.fm library, the band Slut gets the most plays.
Last book you read: Wilco: Learning How To Die by Greg Knot. It gives some wonderful insight to a truly amazing band and its central figure, Jeff Tweedy.
Must-see TV show: Pushing Daisies. Since that went off the air, now it's Top Chef.
Last good movie you saw: Marley & Me was pretty good.
Favorite reality show: The Real World: Brooklyn.
Pop culture guilty pleasure: VH1. Oh, goodness, do I love their trash-fest of whores and outdated d-List celebrities.
First stage kiss: I don't remember having one...actually, I don't think I ever did!
Favorite post-show meal: Anything! I love sweet potato fries especially.
Pre-show rituals: During high school productions, we played warm-up games beforehand. When I did Snoopy!, we gathered together onstage, stood in a circle, and gave each other shoulder rubs.
Worst onstage mishap: When I was in West Side Story, I smacked Tony a bit too hard and he fell off the stool. Mind you, this was supposed to be a serious scene (as Doc gets upset with Tony for being so obvilious). Thank God it was dress rehearsa, but it was still quite embarrassing. I felt horrible afterwards!
Special skills: I'm quite good with an English accent, it almost comes naturally to me. Also, I can sing in various character voices.
Cats or dogs? Cats, I own two of them.
Favorite pizza topping: Chicken.
Who would play you in a movie? For laughs, Heather Grahamn. A while ago someone said we looked alike (personally, I don't see it).
Worst flubbed line: During Snoopy! there was a scene where Linus and Peppermint Patty came onstage and were talking about how Snoopy is a dime-a-dozen. My line was "Did you know that some French poodles cost more than three hundred dollars?" Well, one night, I said, "Did you know that some French coodles ..." and tried to play it off as if I hadn't said "coodles".
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Raul Esparza. Any day. Any time. Anywhere.
Worst costume ever: The Duchess in Alice in Wonderland. It looked horrible.
Favorite cereal: Raisin Bran. Call me old fashioned but there's nothing like a nice bowl of Raisin Bran in the morning!
Role you've been dying to play: There's a few. I'd love to play Sally in Cabaret, Mae in Reefer Madness and one day, if I'm lucky, Mama Rose in Gypsy.
Added Schmerg question-- Favorite show altogether? That's difficult, I have at least five favorites but for all different reasons. I guess if I had to chose, it would be West Side Story. I've been in it, seen it, and have been familar with it for quite a while.

Zodiac sign: Sagittarius

Audition song: I haven't auditioned for anything I needed a song for recently. Before I realized how many people used it, I sang "Gimme, Gimme", from TMM. (:

Monologue you can recite from memory: A cute comedy one I learned a long time ago, about a Fairy Godmother.

Current show you have been recommending to friends:
August: Osage County, and Shrek to my non-theater-lover friends, since they'd recognize the story already.

First Broadway show ever saw: Avenue Q

If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be?: Funny Girl.

Favorite showtune: That's so hard! Right now, it's "Don't Rain on My Parade".

MAC or PC? I have two PCs, but I want a MAC.

Most-played song on iPod: I just got my iPod, so I've listened to my most-played song like three times. (:

Last book you read: I'm reading Wicked, and I'm borrowing the original Phantom of the Opera novel from a friend after I'm finished.

Must-see TV show: Scrubs. And okay, okay, I'm pathetically in love with iCarly.

Last good movie you saw: I haven't seen any good movies in a while - P.S., I Love You is probably the best.

Favorite reality show: Survivor.

Pop culture guilty pleasure: I don't think I have one.

First stage kiss: Never happened.

Favorite post-show meal: Celebratory cupcakes! (:

Pre-show rituals: Green tea with honey, insane amounts of warm-ups, and I always get the jitters.

Worst onstage mishap: I was Beth, in Little Women: The Musical, and my costume started falling right off me!

Special skills: I can double dutch and hula-hoop like no other. :)

Cats or dogs? I like cats and dogs.

Favorite pizza topping: I don't like cheese on my pizza. Weird, I know.

Who would play you in a movie? I would like to see Katie Holmes play me.

Worst flubbed line: At a rehearsal, thank goodness...it was supposed to be, "I'm sorry, sir," but it came out, "Sir, I'm sorry, sir," (: I've never really flubbed lines at a real performance.

Performer you would drop everything to go see: There are so many.

Worst costume ever: I had to wear a shirt reminiscent of Jerry Seinfeld's "Puffy Shirt" when I was Beth.

Favorite cereal: Coco Krispies, and Froot Loops!

Role you've been dying to play: Mayzie La Bird in Seussical, and I think I'd be a pretty mean Lucy T. Slut/Kate Monster in Avenue Q.

Added Schmerg question-- Favorite show altogether? I have way too many. Right now, it's either Funny Girl, or Sunday in the Park with George.

Schmergy, I'm going to see Marc Warren in The Pillowman next month. Now THAT should be creepy! re: BWW Cue & A

Zodiac sign: I always feel more at home with my Chinese zodiac than the western one; I'm supposedly an airy-fairy Pisces, but I'm much happier being a gregarious Pig. :3
Audition song: Last audition I did where I got to choose my own song, I did 'I Cain't Say No' from Oklahoma!. I have since expanded my repertoire, but it's VERY rare I get to an audition where I have to sing my own choice of song.
Monologue you can recite from memory: Lady Percy's "O yet for heaven's sake go not to these wars!" from 2 Henry IV, and King Henry's "Once more unto the breach" from Henry V. It's my new year's resolution to learn a monologue from each of Shakespeare's ten History plays. Next up, King Henry's "o God! Methinks it were a happy life" from 3 Henry VI. I have nothing contemporary in my repertoire. O_O
Current show you have been recommending to friends: War Horse. If you're in London, you MUST see it.
First Broadway show ever saw: Rent. And unlike some people, even though I'm not the obsessive fan I used to be, I'm okay with that. :3
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? I don't know about Broadway, but I have a serious hankering for the RSC's 2004 production of Hamlet, directed by Michael Boyd. Clive Wood as Claudius = BEST IDEA EVER. If it had to be Broadway, I guess Angels in America in its entirety would be freakin' awesome.
Favorite showtune: This changes. Right now, it's '96,000' from In the Heights.
MAC or PC? PC.
Most-played song on iPod: '96,000' from In the Heights.
Last book you read: The Game by Diana Wynne Jones. I never read her as a child, but she's wonderful. :3
Must-see TV show: House!
Last good movie you saw: Probably The Dark Knight. I only see Spanish films, comic book adaptations, and musicals at the cinema, and I'd hesitate before recommending Mamma Mia! to anyone.
Favorite reality show: Uck, no thank you. XP If you can't afford a script, I'll take a nice documentary, or switch the damn TV off.
Pop culture guilty pleasure: I have a thing for Disney Channel Original Movies. There, I said it!
First stage kiss: It was a play called Gone Up in Smoke. I played a schoolgirl trying to kiss her teacher but the teacher's wife walks in just in time. I wouldn't say I've had a proper stage kiss. :P
Favorite post-show meal: I don't really eat after shows. I like to go home and sleep.
Pre-show rituals: It's a routine rather than a ritual, and it varies depending on what preparation I need to do, but no matter what else happens, I always always always brush my teeth before doing anything else.
Worst onstage mishap: None yet. Phew!
Special skills: I can turn my eyelids inside out.
Cats or dogs? Both. I'm a dog person, but I'm seriously looking into getting a cat.
Favorite pizza topping: Cheese please!
Who would play you in a movie? Anneliese van der Pol is my current most likely choice, being a redhead with a knack for comedy rather than cuteness. Also, y'know, being younger than me helps. XD
Worst flubbed line: None that I can remember. Give it time! XD
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Geoffrey Streatfeild and Jonathan Slinger. I'd give anything to go see them in a play again. Doesn't even have to be together, I'm just getting withdrawal symptoms. ;_;
Worst costume ever: I had a tree costume once that looked like a big brown condom with strips of crepe paper sprouting out the top. It'd be hard to beat that. XD
Favorite cereal: Cheerios, I expect.
Role you've been dying to play: Henry V. Although as I'm a girl and Henry's a man's man, I'll settle for Chorus, or any of the actual female roles. If it weren't for my bodacious chest, I could possibly justify playing Boy, and then enjoy a posthumous snuggle with the king. *ahem*
Added Schmerg question-- Favorite show altogether? Floyd Collins, man. :3

Another Aries? Mekroth, what is your birthday? Mine's April 14th, day of the Titanic crash and Lincoln assassination. (Cheery day...)

Weez-- Yipes! Marc Warren + Pillowman? In Hogfather, he played an assassin named Jonathan Teatime who had one plain black eye and one grey one with a pinhole pupil who talked like Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka, stapled puppies to the ceiling, and killed people at a moment's notice.

Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
