Anyone Can Whistle's Act 1 ender is "Simple", the thirteen minute scene where Dr. Hapgood tries to separate the Cookies from the tourists, but all hell breaks loose, and everyone goes crazy.

The Act 2 ender is "Everybody Says Don't".

So you're either thinking of "Simple" or "The Cookie Chase" in Act 3. :)

ANYONE CAN WHISTLE is a BRILLIANT show, that was UNJUSTLY a flop.

Angela Lansbury made her debut here, and went on to star in MAME, the London GYPSY Revival, and (of course), SWEENEY TODD.

Angela starred in ACW with her brother Harry Guardino, who, in turn, fathered Bernadette Peters (who played Fay Apple in the CARNEGIE HALL concert of ANYONE CAN WHISTLE).

Strange, no? :)
