Mominator...:)
I'm confused; who is this RODNEY person?
And which musicals has he starred in? :)

I am very grateful for that advice, DGrant. If only it wasn't too late for poor Michael Jackson.

I somehow knew turning 35 would be traumatic. I just thought it would be traumatic for ME.
I'll make you guys a deal:
When the board gets boring, I'll have another birthday. In exchange, I'm allowed to be perpetually 35.
Agreed?

Hey there, laactress Welcome to the circus!
Namo - I tried to reach Michael years ago, but my missives got all mixed up with the NAMBLA literature, and, well, you know.

Gov,
Oh honey, I know all that, but you're practically a fetus to be chiming in with so many details about a show that only a couple of thousand people saw 40 years ago.

Forgive me everyone...I'm an orchestrations queen. The wonderful orchestrations for Anyone Can Whistle are by Don Walker, not Jonathan Tunick. Tunick had one or two shows under his belt in the 1960s, but didn't become a preeminent Broadway orchestrator until Promises Promises in 1969.
Thanks for the info beav! That was the last I heard of him.
Yes, I know...most of those facts were made up.
And those last posts were out of love. :)
And I'm imagine that dance arranger Betty Walberg is responsible for "The Cookie Chase," though I believe Sondheim himself wrote the themes.
I must admit, I thought of Violet Beauregard when I saw the title of this thread.
"What is this, a FREAKOUT?"
OK, Magruder.
Next time I see you, you get some sweet, sweet lovin' cause that is EXACTLY what I was thinking about when I posted this.
It's a major catch-phrase for my friends' and I!
I kept asking Rodney if he had ever appeared as Ali Hakim because this post (which I found through the BWW Search function) would thus prove that Rodney = Eric:

A couple years back I was playing Ali Hakim in a community theater production fo Oklahoma and Will Parker forgot (I think he missed the cue) to make his entrance (the first time he appears) from the back of the house. Ado Annie panicked and said "I'm gonna go find Will!" and left my, poor ass on stage alone. So I went into my best Irish accent (keep in mind Ali Hakim is a con man pretending to be Persian) and started talking to myself about "why don't you go back to Dublin we're ye belong, etc....
