I'm so conflicted. I want to make ramen but I don't want to miss anything. But I won't miss anything because I still have the vote tally and no one else does.
Oh, what to do? What to do?
Okay, questionnaire time!
1. Highlight/lowlight of BWW Idol so far.
2. What compelled you to participate? (Either as a contestant or a listener. Or, I guess, a judge.)
3. What should be changed. What should be kept the same.
4. Should we have a second season?

Read the thread, Jane. It's not me. Cam was late with her scores (very late
) and is just making them now. I'm in as much a state of anxiety as everyone else.

And just so we don't end up like last week:

1. Highlight/lowlight of BWW Idol so far.
Highlight-getting to interact more with people on the board that I have a lot of respect for but never felt like I could talk to before. And Tiff is a huge hughlight!
Lowlight-last week when bway had to go even though he had an amazing comeback
2. What compelled you to participate? (Either as a contestant or a listener. Or, I guess, a judge.)
Initially because I love music, and love hearing other people sing. I have continues to participate because everyone on here has so much talent and have great personalities
3. What should be changed. What should be kept the same. Changed...I can't think of anything right now. I will get back to you, same for second half
4. Should we have a second season? Oh yeah! I will help with it if you need the help!

1. Highlight: New BWW friends!
Lowlight: Every week when someone goes.
2. I really missed singing, and I thought this would be a good way to MAKE new friends.
3. I think what you're doing now works well. I'd like to see more Broadway themes, though.
4. Second season? DEFINITELY!
I've already eaten the entire contents of my fridge. So. Nervous.

1. Highlight: WesternSky's Still Hurting
Lowlight: the Country music week, blech!
2. I wanted to hear everyone sing, and then criticize them
No you haven't heard my criticisms, but they're generally the same as Penguin's so it seemed silly to post them.
3. I think it works pretty well as is. But I'm probably forgetting something.
4. I'm still torn on that one.

Oh heck, I might as well go along with this.
1. Highlight - Many. Almost every week has contained a song or two that have been complete stand-outs. And I'm glad to say that the singing started off strong, and dipped a bit in the middle, but now in the final stretch, the bar has been raised enormously and everyone should be very proud of themselves.
Lowlight - The meltdown. (Obviously.) And JAC's resignation.
2. I can't sing, but I assumed that there was a lot of talented posters here and would love to make my own little contribution to brighten people's day and make us more of a community. I've made a lot of friends I hadn't talked to before! (Which makes me especially sad when people get voted off. And worse, when they get voted off and we never hear from them again.) Plus there are some themes that I just LOVE (especially the final few - after Oscar week, I'm SO excited).
3. I wish we could get more listeners. As people's favorites get voted off, so do the votes.
We're still strong now, but not as strong as we were in the first few weeks. I also wish I could find a site to put up the links in a way so you can listen to them instead of having to download them. (Sort of like what we did when BSo had the Tripod site up.)
4. It depends on if the calibre of singing can match or exceed what we have now. And if I've got the time and mental & emotional stamina and patience to go through this again!

Allie- 8.0
Wmotionally you got it. You connected with the song and delivered it well. You were a bit pitchy during the chorus, but for the difficulty level of the song you did a good job. I’m glad to see you take a chance on a song that wasn’t right in your comfort zone this week. Not your strongest song, but I’m proud of you regardless. I know you say you aren’t a belter, but I think you are more afraid to belt than it being a matter of not being able to. Trust in your voice and I think you will be surprised!
Ebonic- 7.7
Perhaps one of your best entries. You did overdo it on the riffs but the rest of the song was nice. Your tone was good., and the song was easy to listen to. You are however in your comfort zone. I want to see you pull something out of your hat that surprises us all..
Jrb_actor- 8.5
And yet another solid performance for you. I do love how you adapt the songs to make them your own with adlibs. You like Ebonic though are settling into a comfort zone. The song for me was too easy for you. Perhaps next week you will schock and amaze us?
Spidey- 8.7
I think this is my favorite song entry from you so far. It was fun it was energetic and great for your voice. You are consistently a strong performer.. Good Job!
WesternSky2 - 8.2
You chose a difficult song, and executed it well.. You were a bit shaky on the very low notes though. I could tell it was a bit of a struggle. But overall it was very seductive and sexy. You truly have an amazing voice.
Katzarina- 8.0
I love this song, but it seems to sit in your throat, which affects your tone. I also know that you had recording issues and this wasn’t supposed to be your submission clip. Perhaps in future takes it would have been a little better.. Overall the song was good, as was your pitch. I hope next week you have a better go of recording.
