Oh suuuure, now hubby numero uno shows some interest in our humble little contest here. Pfffft! 
Anyway, minor song switch up today. Yardy wasn't able to send Doxy's song file to me this morning, and Doxy won't be online until Thursday, so I've switched him up with Spiderdj82, who'll now be performing today (#4) and Doxy will perform tomorrow (#7). I would've switched him with Rath, but I prefer prolonging her curiosity.

I can't believe the amount of bitching and moaning coming from people - the ones who angsted the most happened to be some of the ones who performed above mediocre!
Should I make it earlier? Maybe I should make it earlier. But I already told Timote it would be 7, and forgot about Jailyard's situation.

Guys, be thankful that this is still happening.. it's not like doing it at 7 gives you any more or less time to prep.. COntrary to popular belief.. the judges do have lives outside of bww.. Well cept Tiff..

I'm thrilled that you guys are doing this. I have a real crappy computer at home and can only listen to this stuff at work. I'm just afraid I won't be able to get into the links tomorrow to hear the songs because so many others will have gotten there first.

No worries, bdwaygirl. We'll have YSI links as well as Megaupload, and I believe Megaupload doesn't expire after a certain DL limit, unlike YSI.
Cam, you may have to re-upload the links for round 1 because I think the YSI/Mega ones will have expired by now.

The good thing about the Canadian system of government is that we're multi-party, so it's usually guaranteed that we'll always have a minority government. For the last decade, it's been the Liberals, and they get bills passed when the NDP supports them. The Coservatives are expected to win with 39% of the vote (Liberals at around 32%), but there's no way they'll ever get Liberal or NDP support for any of their bills - luckily. So they'll pretty much do nothing for their time in power. The only reason this election was called was because the NDP lost faith in Liberal ethics and wouldn't support them. But it doesn't mean they'll support the Tories either.
