Not really, Jerb. Thank God. The good thing about the Canadian system of government is that we're multi-party, so it's usually guaranteed that we'll always have a minority government. For the last decade, it's been the Liberals, and they get bills passed when the NDP supports them. The Coservatives are expected to win with 39% of the vote (Liberals at around 32%), but there's no way they'll ever get Liberal or NDP support for any of their bills - luckily. So they'll pretty much do nothing for their time in power. The only reason this election was called was because the NDP lost faith in Liberal ethics and wouldn't support them. But it doesn't mean they'll support the Tories either.
