When you say "much better" do you mean "less worse"? Both families are insanely-annoying attention-whorey drains on our planet's rapidly-decreasing resources; there is nothing responsible about popping out tons of children just for the fun (oh, sorry, God-given-ness or what the hell ever) of it, and it's incredibly reprehensible to then go and shove your over-active fertility into the public's face, whether they want you to or not.

Let Jon find a lovely menopausal woman, and Kate fall for a wonderful man who's already had a vasectomy, and keep them ALL off the television.

Well, I don't think it was Jon and Kate's intention to have that many kids, as it was the Duggers.

What I don't like about the Duggers is that their mom homeschools them. Their mom doesn't strike me as a very smart woman at all, and she is responsible for all the kids education? Not a wise move, IMO.

Weez, John and Kate never had intended to have that many kids. I believe that they had twins and wanted a third one and were having trouble doing it via the birds and the bees. So, they went to a clinic and the doctor gave Kate fertility drugs and they kinda went overboard thus giving her more kids they she wanted.

Both are incredibly selfish people. Children shouldn't come into the world having a "job." It's the parents who have a job--to nurture and protect and support the lives they chose to bring into this world, whether or not they were shot up with Clomid or had that many "on purpose." They're not eight little gravy trains. The most telling moment was Kate saying, "The show must go on!" Really, Kate? After all that's happened this year? Can't the kids just have some peace and privacy?

Exactly, blueroses. I find it rather telling that the people who are so quick to point out that Jon and Kate didn't mean to have so many aren't coming up with any justification for them ramming cameras down their offsprings' noses.

I will try to find the link, but I saw an article yesterday on the worst reality show personalities. They mentioned how the oldest Duggar child reminds them of a televangelist. I was quite amusing.
