...the Block User Feature.

At one point, I was very much a regular poster here. But as of late, I simply don't take the time to comment on threads, because inevitably, so many of them turn into petty arguments...

A healthy difference of opinion is one thing, but why spend your free time arguing with idiots who are just intentionally causing arguments to heighten their sense of self-importance? Just use the "Block User" and IGNORE THEM!!!

It's a shame.

Why not? If we all would block the individuals who CONSISTENTLY do nothing but try to cause drama, none of us would be missing out on anything.

Funny...it works for me..I usually hit block and whole threads disappear...good times.

The block feature is akin to the appendix -- it's there but it serves no useful purpose.

Meh, I've never felt the need to use it. If someone truly annoys me that much, I just don't read what they say. If I can ignore the mariachi band on the subway, ignoring something in a cold medium is simple.

Plus, you might miss a really great meltdown.

It often doesn't work. If you see that it's not working, log out and back in; that usually fixes it.

Oh, honey. I do. They're a regular feature on the A Train every Saturday afternoon. A few adjustments to the iPod, and as far as I know, they're doing a damn good Jessica Molaskey impersonation.

I tried using it for the first time today actually and it doesn't seem to be working.
