I have been stricken with it. The other day my Sociology professor revealed he was "really into theater" and now I'm convinced he could be anyone one of you.

Anyone else find themselves wondering who around them are actually BWWers masquerading as people? They're lurking... everywhere...

P.S if you teach a college course on the sociology of American Society on Long Island speak up.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

I did get a little nervous today when one of my students found my MySpace page...

I have this feeling that this girl a year older than me is on these boards ever since I saw her wearing a BCEFA t-shirt..but I always assumed I was just being stupid.

I always think it's funny when people are amazed when teachers do every day things. Such as browse the internet, post on websites, etc. Most students, for some reason, seem to have the mindset that the teachers just stay at school and just sit at their desks waiting for the students to return the next day. Exaggerating of course, but it's just so...odd. They are real people, they have hobbies, etc.

Yes, but if my teacher posts here, I'll have to begin to post coherently and that's a disaster scenario the likes of which I can't even bear to pontificate...

Elphaba, that must mean you're my math professor then...

And Yeah TD612, check out the Gemini thread, the board is positively teeming with June 12thers, It's simply unacceptable, I'm going to have to demand that the superfluous bwwers change their birthdate, and leave it to me, its rightful owner.

I do wonder if anyone from my school (Conant High School re: BWWer Paranoia) posts on here. Also, when I'm at the stage door, I wonder if a person waiting with me is one of you guys. I did ask one group of people at the Wicked stage door (Chicago) and they looked at me like I was crazy...hah so I never asked anyone else again re: BWWer Paranoia.

I do understand what you mean, Diva. I went to school in the dark ages, but I would have found it very strange if one of my teachers encroached on my out of school life!

I don't mind the idea of teacher's leading real lives...

It's really the idea of any of the psychopaths who inhabit this board let out amongst real people that's bone chilling.

It's like C.H.U.D.

well, StickToPriest (anyone remember him? I'm not sure he's still alive. He hasn't posted in years) sent me a PM when I first joined--and the subject was, "Mr. Parks (insert my last name)" and the subject was something along the lines of, "I see you've joined BWW. Runaway. It's addicting!". He didn't say who he was at the time...lol, it took a few more PMs before I realized it was a guy who I went to middle school with and did a musical or 2 with.

I'm just afraid I'll let spill something like "Yeah our Emma Goldman is terrible" and somehow that girl comes here and she knows it's me and..well...then it all begins.
