It's sad that I actually laughed at that. I have the most childish sense of humor ever.

When I was little I kept having these crazy dreams. For example I was with either my mother or father, sometimes both and we did something normal like play or cook, etc and then suddenly they are facing away from me and when they turn back around they turned into something evil (can't even say what I just knew they were bad) and tried to kill me...
I would also wake up everybody at sleepovers cause I would kick and scream and cry in my sleep.
I had nightmares almost every night till I was about 16 or so.
Fortunately I don't have any dreams anymore (at least none that I can remember), but my friends say I talk in my sleep.
What does it mean when in your dream your jaw is locked or like you have severe jaw pain? It was so realistic I woke up and thought that my jaw was like locked.... Maybe it was really happening and I incorporated it into my dream or something... I don't know, whatever it was, it was painful.
I had THE most disturbing dream last night. I was at my friend's house, where I've never been before, and me and two of my friends were sitting in a room talking, and I covered up with this little blanket. The next thing I knew there were bugs falling on the floor from the blanket, so I stood up and threw the blanket off of me and there were little leechy-like bugs stuck to me, so I ran around screaming trying to get them off of me. It was terrible.

OK this is by far my fav. topic. I thought about (other than Mus. The.) going to school for Sleep Study. I think it is one of the most interesting things. My sister and I have actually communicated telepathically in a dream. When we found out that we could do this we decided to "meet" in our dream somewhere and it worked. I know this may sound fake and unrealistic but it really worked. My sister and I are realyl REALLY close so that may have something to do with it.
"What does it mean when in your dream your jaw is locked or like you have severe jaw pain?"
**Alot of times in dreams when you have lock-jaw or jaw pain it's called the "Tight-Jaw Syndrom". This represents an unexpressed anger or other powerful feelings that you've been holding back. Try to remember something that you're upset about and then resolve it. All dreams show signs!
I'm normally pretty good at interpreting and showing what dreams mean, so if you would like for me to help you interpret a dream just PM me with your dream. Try to give me as much detail as possible. Small things may play the biggest role. One of my friends had a dream that she came home from a date and the door was locked and she didn't have the key. She finally walked in and saw her carpet was torn and tormented. She asked me to interpret this and it made no sense. I asked her if she had missed any details and she thoguht about it and then told me that she remembered seeing a broken lamp when she walked it. That was the key to the dream. A broken lamp symbolizes misfortune and the approach of bad luck. Her dream then made sense. Approaching the closed and locked door signifies opportunities that are denied and not available to you or that you have missed out on. Then finding the carpet torn meant that she was hiding something or "sweeping something under the rug". But I will check back on this board to see if I can help anyone else. Thanx! :)

I had a recurring dream once that my godmother got into a horrible car accident and then a week later she was.

I haven't had this dream in about 3 months now so i'm happy!! Ever since I lived in Oregon when I was 10 I've had the most disturbing dream. This lady comes and knocks on my dor and asks me, "do your dogs bite?" I say "no." Then she turns and leaves. then there is a knock on the back door, I open it and she's covered in blood with a knife in her hand. She says "what happened, I thought you said they didn't bite!" I look across the yard and hanging from the fence are my two dogs all cut up and bloody. so i shut the door and turn around and she's at the sliding door on the other side of the house just looking at me. then i usually wake up.
Not a nightmare but last week I had a dream I was building a go cart with my Ex land lord. I woke up exausted! I'd really like to have a dream where I watch me sleep because every time im doing somthing in a dream i wake up really exausted.

TJS is a fairly common symptom among anyone who is under stress. You may not even know that you have it. I was in the dentist's office and they saw that my molars were showing a lot of wear. The doctor said it looked like I was clenching my teeth - probably in my sleep. He fitted me for a brace to put in my mouth at night that would keep me from doing this. The brace had the additional effect of stopping the terrible pain in my jaw that had been nagging me and an awful lot of the headaches I had been waking up with!
I hate it when this happens...I get this dream that I woke up, so I think that I've woken up and gotten ready...then I actually wake up and realize that I haven't gotten ready or done anything.
All I can say is - read Many Lives, Many Masters. I'm reading it now and it really opens a person's eyes.

Often, when I'm like seconds away from drifting off, I'
ll suddenly have this notion that I'm falling. It's like I'm having a dream and my dream self is falling. My entire body will give this jerk and I'll be wide awake again. It freaks me out
I get this too; I'm pretty sure it's relatively common. I don't remember exactly how it works, but it has something to do with your muscles totally relaxing as you're falling asleep, and your brain interpreting that as falling and signaling nerves to respond to that. Or something along those lines.
Anyway, I don't usually remember my dreams, which is probably a good thing, but I used to have a recurring dream that I was being attacked by wolves, when I was (much) younger.

I have those too. They're so annoying.
Jersey Girl--I think we're having the same dreams...LOL
I've also had dreams about my teeth falling out...although I remember reading somewhere that this is a fairly common dream.
One of the most vivid dreams I had was back in college. I vividly remember being pregnant, giving birth, and giving the baby away...and not being bothered by the entire experience. It completely frightened me, not that I had given the baby away, but more that I didn't care.... Of course, I remember reading that dreams about having babies have to do with "giving birth" to some sort of big project....
I also remember having a recurring dream as a child of being chased by a deck of cards that were all jokers!

One interestingly vivid one I had a couple of years ago that I remember involved me being shot on large steps that looked like something from Washington DC. As I was shot and the ambulance got there and I was probably going to live, there was an old man in a gray suit just standing there and watching and he was a good presence, I didn't know who he was though. Strange dream but somehow comforting
