Did anyone else read where Walters made a comment on the Ryan Seacrest radio show that they could never talk about hetro sex while Rosie was on The View?

Man...That's disgusting that she would say that. I'm only in high school but hell, that even offfends me.

I read this somewhere else, but I think it must have come out wrong, Walters is a big advocate for gays, she'd never mean what she said.

I watched The View while Rosie was on the show, and that isn't true, they did talk about heterosexual sex, Rosie said a few times that she gets shy when talking about sex on TV. That;s it.

Exactly, that's why she pretended to be the ultimate evil closet case Roy Cohn's "girlfriend" for all those years. She was advocating, yeah, that's it.

She hired a gay woman to be on her show. I don't find that homophobic, do you?

She's always spoke well about gays on her shows and documentaries. That's all I can tell.

What I love about the ladies of The View, both past and present, is that I never know from day to day whose side I'm going to come down on when the latest scandale du jour arises because each and every one is batsh*t crazy.

Walter has been particularly off-her-game since Rosie left. She's not comfortable in the far (screen) right chair, leading, curiously for someone who's a journalist. Without Viera or O'Donnell, she comes off as a martinet, always quick to scold and awkwardly push a segue. And she's been really tedious in her tireless defense of the parenting skills of Kathy Paris. Talk about a over-selling.

Her handling of the Paris in the Bastille has been paraticularly strange, with daily hand-wringing vs. her "get," nailing the call. It's sort of pitiful, when one considers her career as a journalist.

I think it's time for Babs to get off the air. If she has to be involved in the show, then she should try to produce off camera, or better yet, be in charge of snacks or something.

I hope some changes happen soon on the View as far as co hosts go, it's going downhill. Or maybe it's time to hang up the whole show.

I'm not a Rosie fan, but she did not destroy it. She made it interesting, controversy notwithstanding. While she was on, it had the highest ratings, no? Now it's back to being boring.

I have only watched he ones where kathy griffin has hosted and even those are ehhh.. The others I just deleate.

All of the rah-rah about how THE VIEW triumphs no matter who's there is delusional. Try sitting through a whole hour of it with Walters at the helm. Even Joy is off without the requisite energy. Everyone wants a straight man, but three?

And I'm already tired of the Star Jones Ejector seat. We get one auditioning African-American woman after another, each one straining to carve out a "sassy" nitch. If only IN LIVING COLOR were still on, what a sketch! The show's too dependent on central casting -- The Conservative with Values, the Shoot From The Hip Black Lady, the Uber Mom/CEO Of the Table.

The show needs drama, and the cookie-cuttering of the talent doesn't provide suspense or even good Q&A. When this particular configuration startscross-talking, there's a cacophany of tediuous chatter and no one worth quieting down to hear. The show needs to be reinvented, and fast.
