Never mind about the perm.

It is her laziness and self-absorption that is a real shame. A woman with so much potential and power in the 1970s who could have and should have taken chances as an actress and filmmaker. Is her swan song really MEET THE FOCKERS?

If she had guts she would take a part in a film and prove she can act as well as Meryl.

And Barbra please do The Third Broadway Album with Rupert Holmes [and then Songbook albums like Ella]. Tell Richard-Jay Alexander to go back to Bway and leave you alone.

Do you know what happens when you let Veal Prince Orloff sit in an oven too long?

Let's hope that her Swan Song isn't "Meet The Fockers." To her, it seems that her marriage and family is her first priority, as it should be. Doing films just doesn't seem to fit into that plan in her life.

With her recently signing to a new talent agency, one would think that would mean that "Something's Coming."

The same for Warren Beatty. His swan song is "Town and Country".

He has become a full time stay at home Dad, which I kind of respect.

Still, I agree. Warren and Babs both need to work on something now. There is still good work in them.

Seventies Barbra was stunning, and I love her, but I prefer hearing Karen Carpenter's version

Of course you prefer the Karen Carpenter version. While Streisand may have had a voice, shades of it can be heard in many singers. Celine Dione, Jane Oliver, Julie Budd, Linda Eder, to name a few. But like Julie Andrews, nobody ever sounded like Karen Carpenter. A once in a lifetime voice!

I STRONGLY disagree with you, JohnBoy2. I find Streisand's voice very unique, and while many try, no one will ever be ever to duplicate it. Much like Karen Carpenter.

I love Barbra with every type hair (yes, even the perm had it's moments) but I agree that the pre-perm long blond locks were absolutely STUNNING on her.
