First of all, AMEN alterego!
Secondly, I bought the cd today and it is DIVINE. Definitely one of her best in many years - every single song is beautiful, and her vocals simply shine. Standouts include "Come Tomorrow", "Without Your Love" and "All The Children". There is also a wonderful cover of Andy Gibb's "(Our Love)Don't Throw It All Away".
All in all, I am very happy with this album. It is all I expected and more!! I hope this is a huge hit because it definitely has the potential!

I mean she'a what 60 something years old - what is she supposed to record - death metal - or she can return to Broadway and sing "You can't stop the Beat"?
This is perfect Music for her voice and life right now...

Saw the interview - very boring - more of the same: father died at 15 months, mother didn't praise me, flowers outside the window match the furniture in the room, blah blah blah.
But the cd is exceptional.

It looked to me as if she didn't even know what American Idol was.
Who do you think she was referring to when she showed some real discomfort about who she was involved with in the past and that looking back, she can't believe she was?
My vote is Jon Peters.
