I'm a Baritone!
But I don't think you should be allowed if you can sing a Bb, cause then you just make me jealous.
I'm topping out around G/Ab ish right now and hoping to increase my range.
My favourite Baritone role was Anthony in Sweeney Todd (although the score we had transposed Johanna up a whole tone). Curly was great as well.

Posted: 4/23/06 at 12:03amI range from HIGH tenor to medium bass. Although, in my falsetto I can sing higher than most of our high sopranos. Pathetic on their part, I think so. lol, just kidding, they're great. I can hit the note that Joanne has near the end of "Seasons of Love", but only some days. lol. I can also get pretty low, but then my projection gets crappy.

Posted: 4/23/06 at 4:48amI'm a baritone, almost a bass (my highest note is an F). I dont like it very much though. I want to be a tenor! Baritone roles are so boring. They always play the sidekick to the main character or the goofy guy. It's pretty rare that they're the romantic male lead.

Bobby, Curly, Billy, Anthony... I could go on. I'de say a lot of Romantic Leads are Baritones.
"I can hit the note that Joanne has near the end of "Seasons of Love", but only some days."
That note is sung by the Seasons of Love soloist, not Joanne.

Posted: 4/23/06 at 11:19pmI'm a baritone who dreams of being a leading man :). I can sing up to a tenor and down to a very smooth-sounding bass, both on good days when my throat doesn't feel like crap lol.
