Speaking of, I picked up an old copy of her 90s album "A Woman and A Man" recently - I knew none of the songs, but it's pretty great.

I might just get this re-release.

Just listening to the A Woman And A Man record again...

"I remember I was in the tanning salon/when I heard that River Phoenix was gone"

I love that lyric. The album is jam=packed with great songs, pity it was a total non-hit in the US. Did it even get a release? Worth seeking out.

It was Carlos. It seems to be the only of her albums that's now out of print for some reason.

I never listened to it as much as Heaven on Earth, Runaway Horses, and Real but I'm going to go back and rediscover it.

it is oop and very hard to find.

I remember Circle In The Sand being played non-stop when it first came out. Her music is definitely a part of the soundtrack of the 1980s.

Her solo music is some of the best pure pop/rock music recorded. "Live Your Life Be Free" is my favorite.
