I haven't read the poem since high school, so don't remember a whole lot of it. The little I DID remember WAS in the movie. Whether it was faithful or not (and honestly, I don't see why it needs to be), it is a VERY entertaining and very beautiful movie -- in 3D IMAX. I'm not sure that the script is strong enough to be as effective without the stunning visuals.

I definitely want to see it in 3D, but its only playing in Natick & Reading (here in the Boston Area) and that's a hike !

Is the whole film in 3D bec. I saw Superman last summer in Natick and only parts of it are 3D?

The entire thing is in 3D - and it's some of the best 3D effects I've ever seen. It's not the typcial throw things at the audience either (though there is some of that), but with the IMAX it really feels like you're IN the movie. Add to that the sound system in most IMAX theaters, and when those dragon wings beat, you not only feel like you're flying with it, but you can actually FEEL the vibrations in your chest. It's really pretty amazing.

I enjoyed the movie very much. Surprising, considering I hate those kinds of movies.

And I saw it in 2D. Worked very well and was very effective. I'd love to see it again in 3D.

Okay. I just got back from the 3D movie at Jordans Furniture in Natick, MA. Wow- it was a hike! but I am glad we saw it on 3D. Its kinda weird at first, but I gotten use of that big 3D glasses. I love the movie !

Just minor observation.... the accents are all over the place..some are irish , some are british and Angelina's accent ( I love her to death and I belong to Angie's camp than Jen's camp- I cant stand Jen) but Angie was doing the same old accent from a movie that I saw a year or two years ago (can't remember the movie)... its like me.. putting my filipino accent for a japanese or a chinese role .. LOL !

my god... beowulf's bod...I cant imagine ..animation could be soo hot ! I didn't see his p**** though ..or did I just miss it? (where's that inches thing--

The movie is full of 18-20 yrs old kids...Gosh !!! I never felt soo old !!! Damn !
