Marius, yes.
She's put together such an uplifting, but not cheesy or ballady, album. Fantastic voice and several really stand out tracks.
Check out 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)' for a good representation of the album.
As I said, 'Cosmic Love' gives me goosebumps, it's delightfully haunting.
'Dog Days are Over', 'Kiss With a Fist', 'Drumming Song' and 'Howl' are also great.
Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised to find this thread still going this morning!
Pgenre, thanks for the suggestions and info! He actually performed in concert last week in my area. Unfortunatly I didn't hear about it until like the day before and I had to work that night.
I'll listen to almost anything, except I'm not a huge fan of rap or hip hop. I even like a few marching band tunes. Mostly the field show music I have done.
I'm a big fan of 80's pop since that was when I was a teenager. Some of my favorites being Culture Club, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benatar, and ABC.
I also listen to country with my favorites being Dolly, Reba, Keith Urban, and Dixie Chicks.
I also really love the Indigo Girls and have seen them in concert 7 or 8 times.
Madonna, Beyonce, RuPaul, Sarah Brightman, Leona Lewis, Lisa Lisa and cult jam, Destiny's child, Mariah Carey, The Killers, Kate Nash....
James - just because you couldn't attend the concert THEN doesn't mean you can't attend the concert NOW, if you get my drift. Follow the click from my other post.
P
I listen to a lot of alternative, folk, and classical. The White Stripes, The Spring Standards, and Renee Fleming.
We should start an ipod shuffle thread. Or is there one?
I listen to everything from classic rock to modern rock to pop-rock. A TINY bit of country. But not much.
Of course there are songs in every genre pretty much that I like and ones I don't.
My ipod has everything from Patty Loveless to Lynard Skynard to Depeche Mode to Daughtry (of course) to the Cure and on and on.
