Hahaha. Meryl did look like a pottery teacher who makes her own beaded necklaces.

I thought Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt disappointed BIG TIME. They starred together in a film about fashion and both just made really poor choices.

Sidenote- what was Jack Black on? The white powder or something stronger? And do NOT tell me that's just how he "is."

I love Jack Black. I can't sit through most of his films, but appearances like this, or SNL or other hosting appearances are always highly entertaining.

Can anyone tell me exactly how many different dresses Jennifer Hudson wore last night? I don't understand why she's in a gold dress in the press room, when she accepted the award wearing a brown dress. I imagine that the Dreamgirls performance came in between the two, but then wouldn't she just put the brown dress back on?

I agree that Kate, Cate, and Jodi looked the best but I thought Gwyneth looked awful. In all honesty, I always think she looks awful because she has such atrocious posture. If she'd stand up straight and hold her shoulders back she'd look 100% better. She always looks slumped over to me.

Cut them some slack, people. The reason they wear them is that both women have refused to undergo cosmetic surgery, which I give them A LOT of credit for.

Jack...I can't answer for him (although he's no spring chicken either.)

It never bothers me with Meryl and Diane, because they're tinted - you can see their eyes.

Jack wears dark sunglasses. He has for years and years. It's ridiculous.

Most of them were gorgeous. Not to change the subject, but why was Jack Nicholson bald? Only saw bits and pieces of the show as it tends to drag on too long but I love Ellen and thought she did a great job.

The thing about Nicole is, she's so tall that wearing one colour really overwhelming her. I think it should have been broken up a bit more. Didn't mind the big bow thing, though I normally would. I would have prefered her to have more screen time even though she wasn't nominated for anything, and maybe have seen a couple of expressions. Don't Botox, baby. You're too good for that. The pictures of her and Naomi on the red carpet made my heart skip a few beats. Nic, get away from your alcholic husband and go to your real lover. Who, incedently, is not me. But, if she choses not to go to Naomi, I want Ms. Watts to know that I am available and know how to treat a lady. Mhmmm! oh and Cate, Kate, and Helen looked awesome.

also want to shout out to Maggie Gyll. - what a fantastic dress! she usually looks like she went to a one cent sale at a williamsberg flea maket. bravo.

worst: anne hathaway - needed a body shaper and that bow dragged the girls down down down...like rock lobsters.

not the worst but -- jlo needed an up-do to counteract that strong hozizontal on the neckline.
i could go on and on but i will take pity on all of you.
