Here Come the Brides! Definitely my era, but for some reason, I didn't get caught up in it.

Omigosh! I'm surprised anyone got it. (I was feeling quite "elderly" tonight.) I was a major Bobby Sherman fan (Julie, Julie, Julie do ya love me!)
And, I can't place the lyrics you posted...I can sorta hear them in my mind...what show are they for?

The Sopranos. I not only like their theme song, but I'm often scrambling to find out whose music was used during the show and at the end.
"She is literally the polaroid of perfection
She has everything and she'll give it to you in a second
Looks can deceive
She wears her heart on her sleeve
She'll steal you away
And not just for one day
Every day is an ordinary day
In her world, she's an ordinary girl"

Here we come
Walk down the street
Get the funniest looks from
everyone we meet
Hey, Hey we're ___ ______
And people say we monkey around
But we're too busy singin'
to put anybody down
(maybe this is too easy... but I'm running out of theme songs I can remember the words to.)

Gilmore Girls' "Where You Lead" is a duet by Carole King and her daughter.
Here's an odd one:
Moon over Parma, bring my love to me tonight
Guide her to Cleveland underneath your slvery light
We're going bowlin'
So don't leave her in Solon
Moon over Parma tonight!

Wow yu guys brought back great memories!! My favorites are, St. Elsewhwere and MTM. But M*A*S*H, Growing Pains and Just the Ten of Us ( I come from a large family, and the show was like watching my own family!) have to get an honorable mention.
B
I don't know Just the Ten of Us but, teh title reminded me of Eight Is Enough, a show that had one of the sappiest theme songs ever.
Who knows this one;
The new boy in the neighborhood
lives downstairs and it's understood
He's there just to take good care of me
like he's one of the family
New York is where'd rather stay,
I get allergic smelling hay.
I just adore a Penthouse view.
Darling I love you but give me Park Avenue!
Heh I love that theme song and that show had one of the first lesbian characters I could remember. OK Hank was still in the closet but hey who was she trying to kid?

hank could easily be passed off as the painfully shy, stumbling around women type but, how did viewrs not realize that the character of Ralph was supposed to be lesbian? A woman who looked like a boy, was named Ralph, did construction and was one of the Monroe "brothers".
THE NANNY
LAW & ORDER (original, not the ones from the spin-offs)
CSI
DUCK TALES
THREE'S COMPANY
Who's The Boss?
Perfect Strangers
The Golden Girls
Gilmore Girls
Mary Tyler Moore
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Mr. Belvadere (sp?)
Full House
Bette
And YES, Ducktales! Good choice :)
I didn't really read the thread but i'm at school and it's really hot so i'm gonna tell a wonderful tale (actually it will take about 1 sentence and it's quite stupid) Ok, I saw the theme "welcome back" and it reminded me of a time when i watched every episode of WBC on a very annoying trip to washington DC (ok that's it thankyou for your time)
The Perry Mason Theme used to scare the sh*t out of me when I was a wee lad.
SNAFU - I'd know Green Acres anywhere.

I always liked:
The Addams Family (snap, snap)
Good one, Goth
I know that this one is really easy, but I'm putting it up anyway because this group's LP was the third tape I ever purchased with my own money, back in 5th grade. (The first two being Anything Goes and Bye, Bye Birdie.) So here it is...
"So no one told you that was gonna be this way.
Your job's a joke, you're broke, you're love life's d.o.a.
It's like you're always stuck in second gear.
And if it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year
I'll be there for you when the rain starts to pour
I'll be there for you like I been there before
I'll be there for you because you're there for me too."
The first tape I ever purchase with my own money.
Vanilla Ice's first album.
My friends and I all went and bought it the day it came out. Two days later, the words to 'Ice, Ice Baby' were memorized.
"Alright, Stop. Collaborate and listen... Ice is back..."
I can't decide if that's endearing or pathetic...
Believe it or Not
from Greatest American Hero
I love it!
