The big question is, will the new HOH have the cojones to shake things up, or will they just play it safe?

I think the Silent Six (well five of them, at least), including Frank, should be pissed that Boogie went after the 10 grand, rather than duke it out for HOH. Especially with Frank not being able to play. Boogie selfishly put the other members of his team at risk by reducing their chances of retaining the HOH title. It worked out for them, but I really think they should take a look at how he's playing the game... and playing all of them. And it would be the perfect rationale for turning on him and nominating him for eviction.

Frank and Boogie! Well at least Shane has a spine. I bet Boogie went through the roof. Since there's supposed to be a double elimination this week do you think Britney will only be safe from the first eviction?

Ian has a lot of intelligence but he doesn't have game. Love him, but I hope he doesn't win.

I liked Ian's idea of a Good vs Evil All-Star season, but thinking he would be Evil (or even selected for the show) was weird.
Shane and Frank could have been the two heroes of this season, but Frank aligned himself with the vile Boogie and Shane is completely bored with the house and the game.
I have a hard time rooting for anyone now that Janelle's gone. I guess I want Britney and Dan to go far. At least they have some sort of game and they are both likable.

Boogie definitely didn't take it well, but restrained himself to a degree, so as not to put an even bigger target on his back. Thing is, when Frank and Boogie confronted Shane about his decision to nominate them, Shane, not wanting to take all of the heat, kind of threw Britney under the bus, saying that she had influenced his decision. That caused Boogie and Frank to verbally attack Britney, which, in turn, caused Britney to insist that she wasn't the one who made the suggestion to nominate them to Shane, which led Frank and Boogie to assume that it must have been Dan, since Ian working with the others is completely off their radar. So, yeah... lots of drama. Now Boogie is working on Shane to back door Dan, thinking that they'll have the numbers to vote him out. But, again, that's because he doesn't seem to have a clue about Ian being a double agent. Actually, I think Ian is playing a pretty good game. He's definitely gotten over on Boogie and Frank. If he manages to pull off a HOH at some point, things could really get interesting!

FINALLY someone grows a pair and nominates Frank and Mike. Don't know why that took so long or why Shane was SO NERVOUS about doing it. Frank had been gunning for Shane since the beginning and it's not as if they've really shown any loyalty to each other.

LOL to Britney's comment! She is funny, but I was unhappy the got rid of Ian's armpit hair. It's a major turnoff for me when I see guys with shaved armpits.

Britney is HILARIOUS. I thought that during her first season too. I'm guessing she's one of the only ones who doesn't get scripted in the DR. If she does, she's the best actress in the group too.

I don't think she's scripted. Notice how she's never one of the people who give the "recap" DR sessions. She just has a natural humor, but also can be hysterically paranoid. The house gets to her a little bit and we can feel for her.

I said the exact thing to my boyfriend last night as soon as the episode ended. I could watch Britney all day. Her conversation with Frank on After Dark about hemorrhoids was the funniest thing all season. "What do they look like? Do they hurt? What do you do? Do you have to stick something up your butthole?"

Damn, that must have come on a boring night when I turned it off early. Sorry I missed that.
I have noticed that a LOT of after dark tends to be focused on her. I mean, hell, they're certainly not keeping the cameras on Joe and Jen any more than they have to.
Though I do sometimes wonder who's controlling the cameras. A couple of nights ago there was a group in the HOH room having a real discussion about the game - and they kept cutting away to show us Frank sleeping. Nothing is more boring (and kind of creepy) than watching someone sleep!

I feel like they cut away to people sleeping or boring areas of the house when they feel the conversation is steering towards things they are not supposed to discuss. You hear a lot of "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT PRODUCTION" or "PLEASE STOP SINGING".

^Yeah. Or if they're potentially slandering someone (ie. something that could put the houseguests or the show in legal trouble) they need to switch cameras. Therefore, whenever a conversation is occurring, they keep another camera on someone else so they can switch immediately if necessary.

I think they cut away because they don't want too much information given out during the After Dark episodes - so in case it looks like they are about to talk about something important, they want to keep it for the regular broadcast.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Alot of the cutting away and "You're not allowed to talk about production" has to do with the CBS vs. ABC lawsuit that was recently dropped.
