I should be packing for my trip to Israel that I am leaving for this Sunday, but instead I'm on BWW. Birthright-Israel

awww have tons of fun. i went on birthright in january and loved it! sorry i cant give you tips on what to pack. have fun! if you have any other questions feel free to ask me.

Hillel... i went with my college..... o haha i didn't realize, my avatar picture thing is from my trip there lol... all i have to say is that was one of the best experinces of my life, it was an amazing trip

EDIT: Birthright Israel provides a gift of first time, peer group, educational grips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18-26.

and its FREE!!! o the purpose is to give jewish american teenages a taste of their birthright homeland- Israel. Its a really amazing experience (and tons of fun too!)

I think the program has been running for 5 years now. My opinion on it is that it enables more people to be able to learn about and strengthen a connection with Israel by visiting it. Many of the groups also do community service while on the trip.

yep we did a community service. we spent an afternoon at an Ethiopian Absorption Center for Jews that just imigrated to Israel from Ethiopia and we played with the kids there.

Have fun. I have yet to go on Birthright, I'm saving mine for a bit later, I have some time still. I miss Israel soooo much. I was born there and love it dearly. I still even own a house in Jerusalem. You will have an amazing experience I'm sure.

I'm very excited. I've actually never gone out of the country besides Canada. The farthest I've flown was to Hawaii.

RoseActress-- I just watched the footage from your Mega Event. It's going to be packed, but I've heard from other people who went that they randomly bumped into people they knew on other groups that went. I hope the same happens to me. I have friends from my wheels bus and rutgers that are going the same time as me.
