The Poseidon Adventure was a particular favorite of mine. I stood in line for 2 hours to get a ticket at the Paramount Theatre in Jackson, Tennessee. My God.

nmartin, "What's the Matter with Helen?" is my all-time favorite. Debbie Reynolds tap-dancing to "Goodie Goodie" and Shelley Winters wheezing and moaning like nobody's business. Debbie considered it one of her best films, althought the set was tumultuous because of Winters's antics. Here's what Debbie said in her autobiography:
"I wanted to replace Shelley...she stayed and bedlam prevailed. Then I got another one of my hyperventilation attacks on the set...they called the paramedics and an ambulance...Shelley was upset too..."Don't you die, Debbie," she kept yelling. "Don't you dare!" The ambulance came and they put me in it. They shut the door, with Shelley banging on the windows as they drove me away. "Don't you dare DIE, Debbie! They'll blame me! It's not my fault!"
To anyone who hasn't seen this film, you simply must.

I'm afraid all these films are far too tasteful and well- structured.
My favourite is "Skidoo" starring Carol Channing ,Burgess Meredith and, I think, Jackie Gleason and Groucho Marx. The scene where all the inmates of a prison eat food laced with LSD has no equal on celluloid.
