please dont yell at me for making another Idina board but i have no where else to post it but on a BROADWAY site....so here goes.

She is a mean person and will not appreciate it, I am warning you now.
My friends did the same thing and she grabbed it and blew them off.

a friend of mine gave idina a book back in january, and she was very gracious. However, alot has happened in this past year, and i have heard that she's gotten meaner, but hey, she's only human. good luck!

I don't think it's a matter of her getting meaner, but you can only take so many teenage girls giving her things. It obviously means something to her, but it gets very, very old, I would imagine.

broadwayguy2, please spew your negativity somewhere else. As for Idina being mean, I've heard that she's very shy, and that might come across as mean. I'm sure she'll appreciate it a lot, even if she doesn't show it.

People who are shy can sometimes act mean because they feel uncomfortable. And you can go hump your own leg while you're at it.

Idina was very nice when I met her in the RENT days but I am not sure how she is now. When I saw "Wicked" a few weeks ago she didn't even come out! She was the only one who didn't come out, but then again Taye was there. At least I got to talk to him!

Thanx everyone! I'll keep everything in mind....i dont want to piss her off! I heard she was very mean, i ALSO heard she was very nice (as she was to me) and also....laactress..HOW LUCKY YOU ARE!!! YOU GOT TO TALK TO TAYE!!!! i love him! lol.

You see, no one wants to have a bad reaction from giving a gift to their role model-especially if they worked as hard as me and my friend are! I just want her to appreciate it

I'm sure Idina won't be too rude if you guys are giving her a gift. I mean, it's not like she would throw the book on the floor and stomp all over it, lol. She has her moments, but I say she's entitled... look at the amount of annoying, screaming, obsessive fangirls that do everything but stalk her on a daily basis! If I were her, I'd probably act the same way.
