Hey guys. Awhile back I finished reading all the Gillian Flynn novels and now I'm hoping to find something to read in the same vein. To get an idea of my taste "Sharp Objects" was by far my favorite followed by "Gone Girl" and then "Dark Places."
I've looked at a couple places online to find similar authors and some suggested Chevy Stevens. I read "Always Watching" and didn't care for it because it was a little too Lifetime movie for me. The thing I prefer about Flynn is she just had really twisted stories to tell that shock and surprised me throughout.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Entertainment Weekly had a feature a week or two ago of several books that have been published since Gone Girl blew up that seem to be trying to replicate the formula. I'm failing at finding a link to the article, but I was able to find it in the digital archive from the 2/21/14 edition. The selections were:
Apple Tree Yard by Louise Doughty
Before We Met by Lucie Whitehouse
Innocent Sleep by Karen Perry
Silent Wife by A.S.A. Harrison
Watching You by Robotham.
I haven't read any of these personally, but they gave Silent Wife and Apple Tree Yard the best reviews.
