Here's a lovely comment from that article. People always have to take a sh*t on something good.

"Check my other post in this same thread for references to numerous studies how same-sex couples have a higher separation rate, have kids that are more prone to alcohol and drug abuse, a higher incidence of government assistance dependence, and gays are more promiscuous and have a higher rate of STD's. Data (not emotion) shows that gay marriage is a detriment to society as a whole whereas traditional family units produce the best results. So while I can easily support the "what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedroom" argument as fine, I can not support the government sanctioning and support of this lifestyle. I do believe government has a proper role in supporting and promoting those societal elements that benefit society and to not support or sanction those that have proven to be a detriment. I can love my brother without approving or condoning or supporting his actions that I disagree with. And the data shows that society pays a price if we sanction and support this lifestyle."

Ijay if you look back the same was said of the Black participant in a biracial couple back in the early 60's. Sigh… people refuse to mature.
