lol I didn't follow any of the rules when I had them. I broke so many frickin brackets it was crazy. Towards the end of having them on, I didn't break as many though. I chewed gum like crazy, ate bagels, hard candy. lol but my teeth are perfect now.

Tch. Nothing could get me to give up bagels. Well, except the excruciating pain every time I got something tightened, but once I got off the yogurt-and-soup diet I was back on my precious rock-hard bread every time. And I never broke a thing.

Due to my braces which I had for 2 years to fix a very un-noticable overbite, and now my mouth is worht about 8,000 dollars. Something with my mouth just didn't take to braces, lol. I ended up with 20 some cavities...I know, it sounds totally discusting. I brushed AND flossed my teeth. When the ortho graded me I got all A's. So, I was really POed when this happened. My dentist told me that he's only seen this happen once before int he 18 years he's been a dentist. Anywho, I have 4 more cavities to get fixed n' i'm hopefully through with the dentist...however, I won't complain about the happy gas they use to calm my over excitable nerves
