Sooo. Umm. Is the UK just going to crash out of the EU at the point? I’m curious how the rest of the world is going to react. Will stocks take a plummet... There’s already rumors the queens people are preparing an evacuation for her in case England goes up in flames.

Brexit is stupid, but so is that rumor. If the royals could stick out WW2, I'm pretty sure they can stick out this. Where would she even go?

It looks like they will probably kick the can down the road as long as they possibly can, which means an extension.

I am reminded of Queen Elizabeth, the "Queen Mum," mother of the current Queen Elizabeth II. During the London Blitz of WWII, the Royal Family was advised to leave London, and perhaps send Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret to Canada. She said: "The children won't go without me. I won't leave without the King. And the King will never leave."
