Awwww, isn't that sweet - the Brit Monster has defenders.
Hey, Kellybean - comparing this idiot to Jo Rowling is an insult. Jo is going about her business as an ADULT, and having to deal with the ridiculous intrusion. Does BritM have the same thing? Sure - but I don't see Jo riding around driving inappropriately and damaging other people's vehicles, WITHOUT taking responsibility - which IS the point!
You think someone's excusing the paparazzi - where? The judgement is on the choices of those around those jackals - and YES, it IS a choice how one reacts. Maybe Brit would have had a clearer head without the hound on her lap distracting her.
WORD.
All the empathy is making me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

I have a great deal of empathy - for the woman who came out from shopping to find her car damaged, and NO attempt made to rectify the situation.
I have empathy for her when she had to find out on the news what had happened to her car.
And I have empathy for her having to face the rationless idiots who want to do nothing but excuse the behavior of a spoiled Bitch.
BroadwayGirl, why should we have empathy for someone who was driving in a dangerous manner and could have hurt someone?
Really, with all the "people" around her, what the HELLL are they doing?? This girl needs help.
"...why should we have empathy for someone who was driving in a dangerous manner and could have hurt someone?"
Not to mention someone who apparently doesn't know what a child safety seat is...

But, but, but - it's so HARD for her, y'all!
Whoops, she did it again.
Wow..she didn't even stop to check the other car's damage. Very selfish and dumb of her, in my opinion.
when i repeatedly hit parked cars, i leave notes on the windshield. of course the note says: "i was being watched when i hit your car so i'm writing this note so people think i'm giving you my name and my insurance information. man, that would be dumb!"
RobbO, running your tricycle under the bumper of cars is not the same thing.
only your muffler knows for sure...
Oh, wow, congratulations, DG. You have empathy for someone it's easy to have empathy for! You're so noble.
"BroadwayGirl, why should we have empathy for someone who was driving in a dangerous manner and could have hurt someone?"
The fact that you even need to ask this is kind of depressing. But apparently (no seriously, this is actual psychology), some people never develop to that certain point where they have the capacity to feel empathy for people like that.
Do people on this thread realize that while our favorite little pop princess gone mad neglected to check the other woman's car, the people on here are not neglecting, but rather putting her down with all intent? Why? I guess it makes you feel better about yourself?

I feel bad for her kids
They won't be hers for long
And I'm sure once her kids get old enough, everyone will be on their case about whatever THEY're doing. As if we couldn't possibly see where they're problems could come from just like we can't see how Britney ended up like this.

What? Look, I have empathy for the girl, but not in this situation. She was driving in a dangerous fashion, hit another car, and didn't give a crap about the other person. How can you have empathy for someone like.

You're absolutely right, BroadwayGirl - I'm mean, evil and nasty, so you should avoid me at all cost.
And clearly, I'm not developed enough to feel empathy for people.

BroadwayGirl - if the paparazzi didn't take these pictures, you wouldn't be getting all riled up about it, exciting your various hormone levels, and becoming a full functioning human being.
I think someone owes much thanks to the paparazzi.
Oh please broadwaygirl, get over yourself.
It's a friggin message board. People chat about these things on OT message boards.
Hey - put down that People magazine! I see you holding it. Put it down now!
Slap her with it!
That's the only way she'll learn!
