*sigh*
I'm just being a bitch. If I were from Kentwood, LA I'd have a minivan-full by now. Same with the grammar-nazi-ing. Guess it's my prerogative to be bitter and jaded
Excuse me while I take a cheetos and red-bull break.
In all seriousness, though, did anyone else see some not-so-coded crap in that business about her mother and her sister?

It was just a stupid mistake that was blown way out of proportion because she's famous. Other people have made similar mistakes, especially at her age.

newyorkuniq, you know I love you.
But after reading that letter, I don't know why you insist that Britney is "smart".
As was a co-founder of the "I-Hate-Britney-Spears/Super-Secret-Closet-Britney-Spears-Lovers-Fan-Club", I don't think I'm being entirely cruel or biased in stating that although Britney dances well, her writing is no atestation to her brainpower.
(sadly, I'm not making up the bit about the club).
Also, keep in mind, Britney once admitted on The Rosie O'Donnell Show that her "SAT score" was a 16. I'm going to go ahead and assume that she meant "ACT score", since the SAT maximum score is 1600, and the base score is 200. Seeing as how the ACT is out of 36, I think it's safe to say that Mrs. Federline is not Ivy League material. Although perhaps her multiple references to her hair color might tug on the heartstrings of Reese Witherspoon fans on the Harvard Law board of admissions. One never knows...
Here is a link to the aforementioned letter on Britney's official site. (Who would have thought that the musical "Wicked" could inspire such...[insert adjective here] writing?) Sorry to disappoint anyone who may of been convinced that the pop princess was on her way to becoming a Rhodes Scholar.

Um... not sure I'm feeling your Reese Witherspoon comment. Blonde stereotypes are obnoxious. Some of the most inane people I've ever met were brunettes...
I'm not even going to comment on Britney, but please don't excuse her because of her hair color. (And she was never even a NATURAL blonde...)

I love you, Bethy. (And your blonde hair, too!)
Let's have babies.

1. Guido, you're quite right on the 36. I went back and changed it. Sorry about that.
2. Bethy, I was making a "Legally Blonde" joke. Don't worry, I'm not blaming Britney's flaws on her haircolor. But please go back and note that she used the word blonde more than once in her letter, so obviously she considers it a defining characteristic for herself. I apologize if I inadvertently offended you, or any other blondes that may have read my post.
